How did this work? Did you just go down to the front desk at the hotel? We booked a last minute trip for my 50th birthday (and even had we been planning on going I'm not sure we would have gotten tickets). But I would really love to get tickets day of if that might be a thing.

We went for my 45th during the same time and I remember sitting on a planter just feeling so dejected about the crowds (I usually go in Aug). But... I just really miss being in the parks. WDW just doesn't hit the same notes for me.

I thought it was French Market which is going to reopen as Tiana's Place at some point. I hope it isn't Cafe Orleans lol.

Hello friends! After not traveling to DL since the week it closed in March of 2020 (and the past 2 years traveling to WDW) we are heading back home for my 50th birthday in October. We just decided yesterday to book the trip and so now I'm thing to reacquaint myself with all things Disneyland...

I selfishly hope so. We head out 4 weeks from today for our honeymoon and wouldn't mind crowds that aren't insane.

We even had the issue of annual passes going on sale for DVC members at the same time which was causing the system to crash and we still got everything we wanted. It may seem like overkill but if it works, it works. Best of luck!!!

How I did it was I came up with what restaurants I want on what day. The harder ones to get I usually put at the end of the trip for better chances to snag one and so far it has worked. When my time comes to book reservations we prep by opening a tab on our computers for each restaurant and then...

I got my alert at 3:30am this morning from my Touring Plans reservation finder but didn't see it until about 20 minutes ago (7am PST). I was afraid they would all be gone but we got our reservation for our last day on the 23rd. Super excited!

They must have gone fast. There doesn't appear to be any breakfast reservations for the day we wanted to try and go on the 23rd. Ah well, something for next time.

We were up to just make our dining reservations and it was a nightmare. (We're PST so middle of the night). The website just kept timing out and booting us out. We ended up being able to make all our reservations but had to do them on our phones. I wonder if this was the cause of our issues?

Omg this is during our honeymoon and one of those character breakfasts I would love to do! Now to figure out where to add it lol. I do wish it said when they would be available; we make our dining reservations Thursday for our trip.

We hope to visit starting at French Quarter, then walk down to Riverside before taking the boat to DS. I just really want to experience the boat ride from Riverside but we really want to visit French Quarter more.

I found the original post from early December with the story where the last paragraph said it was totally untrue. I don't understand why any other site would pick it up as real news.

I saw something posted in a Facebook group this evening and thought I would go to Disney's website to confirm. Looks like the BCVs is going to go through a refurbishment soon. I apologize if it's already been posted. I hadn't found many reports of it.

We will be there for our honeymoon June 12-23rd at Beach Club DVC. I am super excited to stay in the Epcot area during flower and garden. Does anyone know when they release those dates? I thought it would have been out by now.

When we were there in February the DS bus from the Poly didn't start running until 10am when DS opened. We ended up taking ride share to be there earlier.
