Third Time's The Charm At The DISNEY COLLEGE PROGRAM Fall '19! (COMPLETE - 8/14)

You're welcome! Yep, he chose the green kyber crystal! It turned out so cool that I kind of regret not building one myself... but maybe one of these days! :)

Third Time's The Charm At The DISNEY COLLEGE PROGRAM Fall '19! (COMPLETE - 8/14)

Most of my pics were kind of iffy due to the combination of low light while juggling a camera and trying to help my son... lol. But I scrubbed through some of the video and found a few decent shots (though they're probably not the best). Savi's was a great experience for us... my son...

Third Time's The Charm At The DISNEY COLLEGE PROGRAM Fall '19! (COMPLETE - 8/14)

I can't imagine how frustrating that whole experience was. You actually assisted my young son as he assembled his lightsaber during this shift. I checked my pictures, and sure enough you were there! It was an incredible experience for the two of us, so thank you for that. :)

A Dopey Walt Disney World Marathon TR (Updated 1/14/2017)

Enjoying your report! I always love to read about the experiences of other runners. Yes, this! We've done race weekends both with and without the kids. We definitely miss the kids when we go without them, but it is SO much easier to handle with the craziness of race weekend without having...

Official 2016 Star Wars Half Marthon - The Dark Side Weekend

I second this. I've suffered from annoying knee issues off and on for the last few years. I took 2 weeks off before the Star Wars half earlier this year and was just fine. My own personal motto has been I'd rather go in a little bit under prepared than a lot injured.

Official 2016 Star Wars Half Marthon - The Dark Side Weekend

I'm starting to get excited about this one! Aw, who am I kidding... I've been excited since I signed up. :) This will be my first coast-to-coast, which is one of the reasons I'm super excited. I keep having this (unfounded) fear that somehow Disney won't have a record of my completion of the...

Official Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend 2016 Thread (Jan. 14-17, 2016)

I found the site frustrating as well. On a related note for anyone that hasn't ordered yet, I noticed that the virtual "iGiftBag" from runDisney includes 10% off of a marathonfoto order.

Cycling to Disney (A progress thread)

Don't worry, you are not alone! I've been cycling for about 6 years now, though the last year or so I've backed off a bit to run more (these darn runDisney events have sucked me in ;) ). I really enjoy cycling... it is definitely easier on my body than running. It sounds like you're off to a...

I clicked on the "View and Order" link under one of my photos and the options listed at the top were labeled as "Rebel Challenge":

Excellent! On a related note, the Rebel Challenge package did include the pics from both races, though it only included the videos from the half for some reason. Oh well.

Yes, I see my medal photos there too. It could be that they are still processing photos... I imagine that it takes some time. You may also check in the "unidentified photos" section.

Ok, this may be a dumb question, but I'm gonna ask anyway. The download packages on marathonfoto.com are titled "Rebel Challenge", but the "Event Images" section on the left only shows either the Half or the 10k, but not both (depending on which photo I clicked on). Do the packages actually...

Yes! That was awesome! As much as I love the Disney World events, it was nice not having to catch a bus to the corrals...

    Post-Race Recovery?

This is almost exactly my routine, minus the ice bath. I was skeptical of The Stick until I used it... then, wow! My "routine" after my very first half included throwing up... but I've since abandoned that. :)

Looks like it'll probably be in the upper 40s during the runs. That's right in the grey area between short sleeves and long sleeves for me. Personally I'd rather be a little cold than a little warm so I'm leaning toward short sleeves, but I'm really not sure what to expect from the Anaheim...

The hydration and the adrenaline will help you at the 13.1. :) Weather.com is showing rain for the weekend. I've had enough rain-soaked 13.1s lately, so I hope that forecast changes. If it doesn't, I'll run happily along in the rain anyway. :)

Got in almost 12 yesterday before my knee started aching. Decided to call it a day at that point. Knee still hurting today... I may play it safe and rest it until the challenge, though it would be great to get in a few more runs.
