Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

MK today - it's a Christmas party day (we didn't have tickets to that) and it was a ghost town for the first few hours after park opening. We were here Thanksgiving week as well, and just want to officially say that for anyone who ever says not to go this time of year, don't listen to...

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

Here now on a relatively last-minute short trip: Pleasantly surprised by All Star Movies resort, as we've gotten spoiled by Deluxe and Moderate although do have a soft spot for Pop. It was all that was available for our crew and it's actually pretty great? In a preferred room so location is...

    Favorite affordable Disney Springs restaurant?

She has multiple restaurants here in Nashville and they're all incredible. Really excited to try this one!

    Spring break crowds…?

It's manageable, no worse than most weeks in the summer - as said above, spring break is so spread out across the country so it's not like everyone converges at once like they do Thanksgiving or Christmastime. We've done spring break (mid-March) many times and if you manage expectations and plan...

    Biergarten or Via Napoli?

Another vote for Biergarten - it's such a unique dining experience compared to what most of us have at home but Via Napoli feels pretty "normal" if you will. The entertainment and environment is worth it and I've always enjoyed the food (just went last month again and our whole party enjoyed it!)

Soarin’ Over California Returning to Epcot Until Feb 27, 2024!

we really enjoyed it a few weeks ago - agree the World one feels a bit more thrilling and "crisp" in quality, but both my teen girls walked out saying that California is basically it's own planet with all those landscapes so an educational win! LOL

    Favorite Less Popular Attractions!

One of our must-do every single time in MK is to get a dole whip and take it into Tiki Room to enjoy since we almost always walk right on in or just a few minute wait. It's perfection.

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

This Sunday was a party day and we had a Tron ILL for around 10:45am, we heard the people next to us in the VQ line near boarding say they'd been waiting for 90 minutes - crowds in the park were light that day, too.

🎄The Official HOLIDAY DECORATIONS at Disney Resorts Thread🎄

2023 life: When you're staying at a resort and learn about the lobby decor from a forum before you've had a chance to go to the lobby in person. :) So excited this happened for our last full day here!

VQ or LL for TRON the day after Thanksgiving?

As a point of reference, we did ILL for Tron on Sunday and heard the people next to us who were in the VQ line as we neared boarding say they'd been waiting for 90 minutes....we waited about 10. It was worth the money for us.

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

Here now and wanted to share our Thanksgiving week experience to date: Arrived Saturday evening, checked into Wilderness Lodge for 4-night stay. Had a great dinner at Story Book Dining, 1st time visit there and would recommend. No park hoppers, taking it easy this trip so sleeping in...

Disney's WILDERNESS LODGE Information & Questions

We arrive this Saturday and I wasn't aware of the Club level option until I saw this...and maybe I'm misunderstanding...but if I wanted to see if this was possible for us, but I've already done our check-in on the app, do you just go to the desk when arriving and asking if this can be...

    Disneyland paris vs WDW Orlando

WL is hands down our favorite. It's really special!

WWYD with teens during a free morning/lunch - no park

We've never been to AKL or eaten at Sanaa so debating doing that and have an ADR held - is there anything fun to do, e.g. walk around the resort or can you see the animals other than through the restaurant viewing windows?

    Disneyland paris vs WDW Orlando

The Dolphin is fine, it's just nothing special/Disney feeling. I wouldn't say AKL is complicated to reach anything, can just be a bit longer on Disney transportation depending on which park you're going to.

WWYD with teens during a free morning/lunch - no park

Yes, we go often - this is a quick trip with first timers so just a 1 day park visit (MK) on Friday, but they won't be with us yet on Thursday so trying to think of something new (to us) to do that I may not have thought of! Great suggestions on here so thank you!!

WWYD with teens during a free morning/lunch - no park

We're arriving on a Weds night a day ahead of the rest of our family due to how the flights worked out. I have 2 teen girls who will surely want to sleep in, but any fun suggestions for what we could do to kill time for a fun lunch or something in the area until mid-afternoon? No park tickets...

How to get excited, or should we cancel?

Honestly? I would cancel and give yourselves some more breathing room between that last trip and the new one. I think so much of these trips being "worth" it for us is the anticipation and joy of planning leading up to it, and not looking forward to it would be a sign that it's not the right...

Rides breaking down at alarming rate

THIS. I think there's just so much more visibility to what's up and what's not, especially for those of us glued to our apps when in the parks.
