DAS changes coming WDW May 20/ DL June 18, 2024

That could be a solution that could work, but it isn’t an ideal solution for someone in my situation who could potentially be solo and have to leave the line. Trust me no one will want to be in a line with me if I run into issues while waiting in line.

DAS changes coming WDW May 20/ DL June 18, 2024

But how does that work if I am alone? Personally I don’t think the rider switch is a great option. The whole point of DAS is to give people a similar experience to guests touring the parks. Rider switch takes away the opportunity for a party to enjoy the parks together. It is different...

DAS changes coming WDW May 20/ DL June 18, 2024

The wheelchair/scooter would help with the waiting in line part for me for sure, however I am physically able to walk at an average pace for 20-30 minutes. It is only when standing still or walking in a slow moving line for an extended period of time that I have issues. It would be...

DAS changes coming WDW May 20/ DL June 18, 2024

I am very concerned about these changes because it sounds like I will no longer be eligible and the accommodations won’t work for me. I have multiple reasons why I am eligible for DAS under the current program. I do not think renting a scooter is a viable solution for me. I am physically able...

WDW Summary of NEW DAS changes and Disney Genie - Post ONE is an updated summary

I am about to reserve my advance DAS passes for my trip next month and I have a quick question. Do my guests have to have purchase their park tickets before I can make the advance DAS selections? I have an AP and one of my guests does as well. My second guest is getting a park hopper ticket and...

0 for 5 on December room requests--bad luck, bad requests, arrival times, or something else?

I stayed at the Poly earlier this month. My only request was an upper floor. When I got my room ready request, I was assigned a first floor room. Before going to the room, I stopped at the desk, and asked if there was anything available that was not first floor, and they were able to move me to...

I want to go to a Christmas Party….. but not Disney

All of the Christmas activities are at the original SeaWorld park. If you do go, the fun card mentioned above is a great deal. They also have market stalls set up with really good food (think of it like the food and wine stalls). You can get a punch card with five or ten items that will save...

I want to go to a Christmas Party….. but not Disney

SeaWorld does an excellent job on Christmas. The ice skating show is outstanding (go to the late show and stay comfortably seated for the fireworks).

How do Mears Connect and Sunshine Flyer compare lately ??

Has anyone used either Mears or Sunshine Flyer from the new Terminal C? Do either of them service terminal C directly or do you have to drag your luggage to the main terminal? Edited to add: I just called both Mears connect and sunshine flyer. Mears connect does pick up passengers right at...

Hurricane Ian - WDW Resorts Related Updates, Planning & Discussion

On another site, I saw a picture of a menu of the options at the yacht club. Adult breakfast boxes with a bagel, fruit, cereal, and OJ were $5 and kids breakfast boxes with cereal and fruit were $4. There were about six sandwiches to choose from for $7 each

Hurricane Ian - WDW Resorts Related Updates, Planning & Discussion

There are a lot of trees around those cabins. I was at the Boardwalk during Irma, and when it was safe to leave the hotel, we took a walk to the other Epcot resorts to see the damage. We saw trees that were knocked over with the roots pulled from the ground. A large tree falling on those cabins...

Hurricane Ian - WDW Resorts Related Updates, Planning & Discussion

I had to extend my trip for hurricane Irma in 2017. We were supposed to go on a cruise but it got canceled and we had to find rooms at Disney. Luckily I was able to get a room through a friend at the Port Orleans but we were able to switch our reservation to a room at the boardwalk through DVC...

Tropical threat?? Leaving in 9 days...

I was at the boardwalk for hurricane Irma. Because they had a convention Center that was attached to the building, they serve three hot Buffet meals a day at a reasonable price. If you are in the tower, they could have more options available because you can get to common areas. If you were in...

I just wanted some water, soda, and snacks this trip so I decided to use DoorDash for delivery. I have the DoorDash pass so I was able to get free delivery from 7-Eleven. It cost me about $18 for a case of water, two bottles of soda, and some chips. I also could’ve ordered from Walgreens. It was...

Have You Ever Had To Confront Another Guest's Poor Behavior?

, Years ago, when I went to see Mickey’s Philharmagic, A family of 10 plopped themselves smack dab inthe middle of the row. I watched as 15 people in front of me squeezed by them and when it came time for me to squeeze by them, I accidentally on purpose stepped on the toes of the adults...

Error Message when trying to modify?

I think this has something to do with the waitlist as well. I had the same issue last week when trying to add a night at the VGF to add to an existing reservation I made at the 11 month window. I had some banked points, so I was going to take whatever I could get at the 7 month window, and add...
