    First trip

I would say one day per park minimum if you want to enjoy the park.

    Both parks in one day

I say yes. When we go we go for five days - one park per day for four days and on the fifth day we park hop and get all the rides in. It's not as relaxing but it can be done, especially if you don't mean "every single ride in the park." It also depends on the park hours.

safe to say we will miss epic universe?

I'm curious if you are worried about just the parks being packed, or the resorts too? Not that I have the answer... but it makes me wonder if Epic Universe is open, will that alleviate crowds at the other two parks? Or will more people wait for EU to open and then flock to all the parks at...

Using two tickets in one day?

No sorry. They don’t allow that. They want you to get a park hopper for that. Especially if you got two of the days free it’s not in their best interest to allow it.

    jumping in line last minute

We have jumped in line 1 minute before closing many times. I think we may have even gone through at exactly closing time. We usually end with the Spider-Man ride so I know you can do it there.

    Chilly Weather Ideas

We enjoy CityWalk. There are two different miniature golf courses there. We've only played at one. We enjoyed it. We also just enjoy the shopping and dining. We love Antojitos, Cowfish, and Toothsome for dining. I wouldn't say there is a lot to do there.

Universal Newbie....Disney Veteran. Need help planning!

My opinion as far as how many days to spend at the park... we always do 5. We don't think it's too much. We just like to repeat rides and do everything in a relaxing way. (Although we always have the Express Pass because we stay at Hard Rock or Portofino Bay.) We like a lunch at Finnegan's...

Son in walking boot and non weight bearing for our trip

Have you looked into a knee wheeler/scooter? It keeps the weight off the one foot.

    Hotel Help

Also, there is sand "beach" at the pool at HRH. If that's something your kids would enjoy.

    Hotel Help

HRH is good for kids. Probably not for babies since it’s so loud all the time but our kids loved it. They do pool activities for kids. I don’t remember what. I think they have live music and have dance contests. Sorry I can’t remember. Maybe someone else can help with that info. I just...

Help With Ethical Express Pass Question

I think the original poster's friend wants to not add the kids to her own room, and also ask for 2 extra room keys for her own room. The original poster will not be involved in any of the fraud other than unfortunately vacationing with them while they try to scam Universal. Eek. It won't work...

Help With Ethical Express Pass Question

We were there less than a year ago... when you enter the park the first time they take your photo and it's linked to your pass/room key. When you enter Express Pass line they scan your pass/room key and they have a photo of the face that is associated with that pass/room key that comes up on...

Things to do outside of the parks

Did you mean on or off property? We don't leave Universal property when we go so can't help you with that. In my opinion, there isn't a lot to do on Universal property. They do have miniature golf at Citywalk. They have two different courses. There isn't much at Citywalk. They have a few stores...

    First Time Help

A week sounds great. Three days is enough to do the parks, but I will say we do five days at the parks. Just so we don’t feel rushed, but it’s not necessary with EPs. Also, our kids love to ride all the rides more than once. We do park hop, but it’s not necessary (unless you want to ride the...

    Ropedrop Hagrids with backback

Eek. I’m sorry but I personally don’t agree with splitting up and then passing other guests to catch up with your party. I don’t think it’s fair to the people who sacrifice not bringing a backpack so that they don’t have to stop at the lockers. Especially if it’s more than one person. I also...

    1st time AP questions

I can only tell you want I was told when I was making a purchase of a “special” annual pass a few years ago. It was different rules for Flex Pay. Regarding the current free 3 months special, my email stated: “However with FlexPay contracts, the expiration date is based on the contract opening...

    1st time AP questions

Yes, apparently there's a difference. It makes my head spin trying to figure that line out. lol. They had a special a few years ago early in the year and it had an "activate by" date and I contacted them about it and got multiple different answers but it turned out that the activate by date was...

Might add Universal/IOA to our anniversary trip, how well do they accommodate handicapped card holders without a chair now? Parking? Hotel to park?

I’m not sure I understand. They have access for wheelchairs and scooters. I think you can rent the scooters from a company out there. Are you asking what they offer for someone that needs a wheelchair to get around but doesn’t use one?

    1st time AP questions

Universal told me this: (Via email) If you purchase a paid-in-full Annual Pass order ahead of time, these passes will expire one (1) year from the first date of use at the turnstiles, and no expiration on when to pick-up the orders. You would be able to purchase these during the promotion, and...
