Via Napoli in Epcot... Good food or no?

Love the pizza there but some may not like Italian style. My kids also inhaled the kids spaghetti and meatballs from the kids menu. We’ll actually be there in a week and a half... can’t wait!

Showing up with 1 more than your ADR is for

This has happened to us a few times, also with a baby in the party, and we've always been fine. If you're willing to keep the baby in your lap, it doesn't impact how many chairs the table needs. If you require a high chair, then you'll be testing your luck. In experience, they do their best. But...

What is your touring style with kids?

A couple early mornings, a couple late nights. Afternoon breaks pretty much daily for some pool/AC time.

Do you keep your young kids up later at Disney?

As a parent, I would give it a try one night so they could see the fireworks. My kids have always been troopers and done really well staying up later if needed on vacation. With that said, we do not go park commando. If we're staying up late, we're sleeping in. And we like midday nap/pool breaks...

    Magic Bands Upgrade

I haven't found any Magic Bands on sale online. Can you link to it?

    Stroller or Baby Carrier?

I took both for babies. For toddlers, I would only do a strollers, specifically one with a good shade and that reclines. It definitely gets hot (for both parent and child) carrying/wearing them and you will find that you can navigate through the parks much quicker with a stroller. Plus, like you...

    Magic Bands Upgrade

Today is my last day to customize, so I'm super bummed. I'm wondering if I decline them for now, can I opt into having them at some point before my June 17 check in?

BBB, Harmony Barber shop, and Pirates League bookable ONLINE!

It's not working very well yet. I tried multiple times over the course of three days to book PL. I would get as far as putting in my credit card to hold the reservation, and then would get a "Something's wrong" message. I finally called and the CM was able to get me better times and link all the...

    Alcohol policy

Definitely take it as a compliment and try to understand that once the decision has been made to card you, they cannot serve you without seeing it. I’ve heard a lot of recently that some places need to check ID if they think you might be under 40.

H&V, Mama Melrose or Tusker House

Tusker House is my favorite buffet on preperty, so I vote that for sure!

    Fave Strategies?

My experience is book FPs after 11 and get there at rope drop to ride the others. In my experience, FPs that are still available the day of are the ones you can practically walk on anyway.

Movies to watch before we go

I would say Toy Story (at least the first one) and Frozen for sure as they are both big in the parks currently. Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid are good ones too as they have a couple attractions each.

    Age Verfication question?

We have been many times with toddlers and have never been asked. I was once told that CMs are specifically told NOT to ask for verification. Not sure if that’s true or not, though. I have been asked for proof at the airport, however, so always have birth certificates when flying.

Which is the best 1st "thrill" ride?

Has he or she done Barnstormer yet? That’s a great first “rollercoaster.” Thunder Mountain would be my next choice. Splash is fun, but that big drop may scare a first timer. I haven’t done SDD yet, so I can’t speak for that one.

    Child too skinny for rides?

Definitely no need to worry. She will not fall off that ride. It’s jerky at a couple of points, but nothing more. I have put my arm around my kids when I was nervous, but it’s fefinitely not necessary.

    ADR on arrival day?

I like to do it if time allows, especially if we’re not going to a park. It’s nice to have an actual meal after traveling, and if it’s a character meal, you can knock some characters off your must-see list.

    Surprise additional guest

My son was five months old on his first trip and it was a breeze. He was much easier than his older sisters (5 and 2.5 at the time), lol. We didn't need to do a car rental, so no advice there. I was able to fit a folded Rock n Play in one of our suitcases, so that's what he slept in, which was...

Please help me decide if this is a good deluxe split stay deal!!!

$800 for 7 character meals for a family of 5 (2 year old is free) doesn't sound right. Crystal Palace, for example, cost my family of two adults and two paying children more than $150 in January.

Need good dining suggestion for group of 10-11

We have a group of 11 and have had great luck with seating at Ohana, Mama Melrose, Via Napoli, Boma, Cape May... I know there's more. At other restaurants, we have to split into two groups in order to make reservations. Not a big deal, though I do with theirs were more that could easily...

    Must-Have Disney Snacks

Dark chocolate sea salt caramel at Karmel Kuche! I also can't wait to try an ice cream cookie sandwich with peanut butter drizzle at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. Mickey ice cream bar and soft pretzels are my kids' faves.
