EDIT: Sorry, I did the shopDisney offer using a credit card, not using a gift card. Yes I did the shopDisney 8% a few weeks ago, two different $500 gift card transactions and it worked for me I believe within 24 hours. I Only purchased egift cards in my transactions and nothing else. YMMV though.
