One food or drink you cant miss

I know you can get it anywhere, but I love the Iced MochaLatte at Cinnabon - it's been my favorite chocolate drink for over 25yrs. Hot ButterBeer. We like the nachos at Antojitos the best because their salsa is so good. Jakes. And many places have GREAT Truffle Fries.

Just a Reminder that 2020 Is Oberammergau Passion Play year

We've had our trip booked for over a year, we are going in Sept.-Oct. Not with ABD, but we are doing a land tour thru London, Paris, Switzerland, Germany, Italy. We can't wait.

    ADB Rhine River Cruise

We've done Tauck and Uniworld - we love them both. They are both 5 star, all inclusive. We've been on 5 total. ABD is quite a bit more money . . . I can't imagine them being better. We did Viking once and it doesn't begin to compare, plus, it's not all inclusive. Would love to hear why you...

Do we Jump Ship or stick with the DCL we love for Alaska?

Alaska is about Alaska, NOT a Cruise Line. DCL doesn't have access to Glacier Bay, which is a do not miss. GB is a Nat'l Park, a Park Ranger even gets onboard - only a few lines have access. Princess has done Alaska the longest and most of their cruises go to GB. They also have an amazing...

    Halloween Horror Nights

I am just now considering a trip there to surprise my husband for his Oct. Bday. We have been to IOA/US, but know nothing about Halloween there. What are these houses? Do both parks have Halloween stuff? How many days should we plan? Thanks.

What to look for in an Alaskan Itinerary?

Well - we are planning HAL Summer 2019 - LAND/CRUISE tour - but my friend is a TA in Virginia Beach and she has a big group going on this cruise you mentioned and the price is too good to pass up on- so we are also going on that July 2018!! At first we were just going to see all our friends we...

What to look for in an Alaskan Itinerary?

Well, for us, the stuff to do is ALASKA! We don't need all the ship attractions. Plus, to be honest, after an early morning wake up, all day on land w/excursions, a late dinner - we are ready for bed to do it all again the next day. Thanks for the post - we have decided on HAL.

What to look for in an Alaskan Itinerary?

We've been researching a lot on the Cruise Critic Forums = tons of great info on the Alaskan Boards, The Holland America Boards, and the Princess Boards - we have it narrowed down to Holland American and Princess, since those are the only 2 lines permitted to sail thru Glacier Bay, which is a...

disney travel insurance worth it? Advice?

We aren't going till Jan.2019, but we have paid our deposit . . . are you saying that it'll be cheaper to go ahead and get insurance now? We had planned on waiting till Oct. 2018 before our 'pain in full' date.

What to look for in an Alaskan Itinerary?

We are beginning to research for our Alaskan Cruise - not until Summer 2019. What are the "must see" ports? What is meant by 'inside passage'? Is Glacier Bay a 'must see'? We've noticed not all cruise lines go to Glacier Bay. We were considering DCL, but the prices are crazy and we've...

NEWS 5/17: Late 2019 itineraries released - link in post #1 (2020 watch thread will start soon)

What does it mean to be Silver? We cruised DCL back in 2000 for the first time. We just booked Jan. 3 2019 as our 2nd DCL. So are we silver? Even though it'll be 20yrs?

NEWS 5/17: Late 2019 itineraries released - link in post #1 (2020 watch thread will start soon)

I know. As much as we love DCL, esp. the shows, we can do 2 of another line for the price of one DCL. And I must say, we've always had MUCH BETTER food on Celebrity over DCL - but we just love DCL. BUT, we love 2 vacations for the price of 1 better. We try to do DCL every few years, but we do...

NEWS 5/17: Late 2019 itineraries released - link in post #1 (2020 watch thread will start soon)

I will be following - we have the same questions. We are also planning Alaska Summer 2019 - but are also strongly looking into Celebrity, HollandAmerica, RCI for lower cost.

disney travel insurance worth it? Advice?

MY brother was killed in a car accident on our 2nd day of vacation. We had to fly home that day. Entire trip was reimbursed. It doesn't matter if you're healthy. There can always be an unexpected death, or a ruptured appendix, or a broken ankle.

    Kennedy Space Center

KSC is easily one full day with NO add ons. We love it. Get there when it opens and start with the bus tour - be sure and see the show in the main building on this tour - it is at the very end of the building and it is so fantastic. When you get back from the bus tour - go to the Atlantis...

Kennedy Center and Halloween Party In The Same Day?

Don't sell yourself short on KSC. We were there from open to close and still missed both IMAX movies. It offers SO much. Be there when it opens and take the shuttle bus tour 1st - don't miss the show in the big building at the far end of the tour bus tour . . . it is spectacular. Then go...

Seriously thinking of Skipping Hollywood Studios this trip!!!

HMMM. Interesting . . . we are going in Nov/Dec and we had 2 days planned at HS. We figured it would take 2 Days to see the shows & hit the main rides. Can it all be done in one day? We have a long trip planned, so we have plenty of time planned in the other parks. But, if we can do HS in...

We booked our ADR 180+10 today!!

My husband and I were both on a laptop at 6am and booked all our ADRs at 180+10 within a couple minutes. We got all our 1st choices, even dinner at BOG. The only issue we had was at Le Cellier in Epcot . . . we weren't able to get anything there at all - not the entire 2weeks we are staying...

Will MVMCP be MORE crowded on a Friday?

Thank YOU! We could go on Tues.11/28 VS Fri.12/1 . . . just wondering if there'd be a big crowd difference? We know it's all a guess & gamble.
