Once you go Deluxe, do you ever go Moderate or Value?

I'm afraid I'm going to be faced with a similar issue soon. I have friends who have started to mention joining me at Disney sometime (they know I'm an AP with a flexible schedule) but their budgets are different than mine. I would never force anyone to spend more than they're comfortable with...

Once you go Deluxe, do you ever go Moderate or Value?

I usually stick with the Deluxes, but for shorter trips, I don't hesitate to go back to POFQ (so beautiful) or CS (the business class rooms are really nice) It depends on who I'm with and what else I'm spending $$ on at the time. I've never stayed Value, and have no desire to.

    Solo hotel upgrade opinions needed

Just curious as to why you didn’t like BC? I haven’t stayed there, but am planning a trip for next Fall with my sister and she mentioned possibly trying it.

    Solo hotel upgrade opinions needed

I splurge on travel, so I almost always stay Deluxe on my solo trips. I enjoy the atmosphere and amenities. There’s no rule that says you have to travel “cheap” (although nothing at Disney is cheap, lol) just because you’re by yourself. Staying at Boardwalk right now for my 10-day trip! I’ve...

Is there a way to modify an existing reservation online

If you modify a reservation online, it doesn't cancel your reservation and make you start over, does it? There's no availability at my resort for my dates anymore, so I don't want it to accidentally cancel my reservation.

Adding a guest for part of a stay?

There's no 3rd guest in the room, so there shouldn't be an extra fee. I'd rather have MDE squared away before my arrival so she doesn't have to worry about anything going wrong.

Adding a guest for part of a stay?

Oh that's not a problem..she may be almost 30, but when we do things together, she makes me handle everything..she says, "you be the mom!" :rotfl2: Thank you, everyone! She's going to be so excited that she doesn't have to worry about anything except getting on the correct bus ;)

Great, thank you! That will put her mind at ease :thumbsup2

Adding a guest for part of a stay?

No occupancy issue, it's just me in the room. So if I add her for the whole trip, she can still take DME even though it'll be different dates than mine? She's a nervous flyer, so I know she would prefer to get the tags in the mail and tag her luggage ahead of time so she doesn't have to think...

Adding a guest for part of a stay?

I have a Room Only reservation for my November stay. My sister would like to join me for a few days in the middle of my trip (so different arrival/departure dates). Can I add her to the reservation, have it linked to her MDE, and still have her eligible for Magical Express? Has anyone done this...

    First solo trip!

Welcome, Kylie! My dates are almost the same as yours, I leave the 10th. My family is joining me for about 3 1/2 days for a long weekend, but I'll be solo for the rest of my trip. I'm meeting up with DaisyDuck and some others a few times, so I hope you can join in! Otherwise, feel free to...

    Unpacking...

I always unpack, then put dirties back in the suitcase so I don't have to waste a lot of time re-packing at the end of the trip. I DO, however, lysol wipe all of the drawers before unpacking, and I keep all of my clothes in the packing cubes in the drawers; I'm a bit of a germaphobe, lol!

Whats up with all the Farting ?

I'm mortified to say, my father is a Proud Public Farter :crazy2: He'll let 'em rip anywhere and everywhere, and they are LOUD!! I don't think he even notices anymore, they just erupt as he walks. If a graying Italian man who looks like he stepped straight out of The Godfather wearing a Pirates...

14 Day Solo Man v Disney - It Was Awesome

I believe the general rule is if you're buying 10 or more Park days in a year, it's worth it. I always do parkhoppers, so that's an added cost to my bill, so when I did the calculations, the AP basically pays for itself in one trip for me. That's not even taking into account the discounts you...

14 Day Solo Man v Disney - It Was Awesome

This will be my first Christmas party..I've heard mixed reviews on how "worth it" it is, but I love Christmas, so I'm giving it a try. At least I got an AP discount on that one, the Nov 1st Halloween party is full price!

14 Day Solo Man v Disney - It Was Awesome

Not 14-day, but I'm taking a 10-day in November so I can hit both the Halloween and Christmas parties! Sorry about customs, my German friends hate visiting because they get GRILLED!

    BWI: but not the clown

I'm with you OP, that slide is the stuff of nightmares! BUT, this year I'm facing my fears and staying at BWI for a whole 10 days! The rest of the resort is beautiful, and I've always wanted to stay there, so I'm giving it a try. I have a feeling I'll be sunning at the quiet, non-clown pool...
