Well, we did EE again today at DHS (Jun 1), and while they let us tap in and speed walk to ROTR at 7:30 and enter the queue, they did not start running the ride until 7:54. We had hoped to be able to ride ROTR and still make it over to TOT before the line got crazy, but by the time we got off at...

We did 6 pm VQ last night, and got an estimated return time of 10:10. We were actually called at 9:15ish. Based on that, maybe they can add more capacity moving forward. They were not allowing standby riders during EEH, only VQ.

We rode during EEH last night, and it took 40 minutes to ride once called. Our group actually split and one went in at 9:20, the other at 10:00, and the 40ish minutes was consistent for both groups. Our group's estimated return time was 10:10, and they actually called us at 9:15.

I have tried to get Test Track as my second pick the last 2 days for an afternoon park hop to Epcot and have not been able to do so. Soarin' has been available to book through mid-afternoon, possibly later.

No, it was only valid for the lower tier rides like Mission Space, Spaceship Earth, Figment, Living with Land, etc. Test Track, Soarin', Remy, FEA were all excluded.

I would go with option 2 or 3. I think attempting to take on the food booths around 4:00 that day (with predicted holiday crowds) would be setting yourself up for frustration and exhaustion. We will actually be there that night too, and our plan is to spend our morning at another park (HS)...

I would grab ToT as your first G+ pick and rope drop ROTR during EE. Try to arrive early enough to be at the front of the EE crowd. If ROTR opens earlier than official EE time (which it sometimes does per reports from others), you could potentially get to RnR after that ahead of official park...
