Rope drop for FOP is a mob be warned

Thank you for the heads up. That might be just the time to head over there. :)

    Too old for MVMCP?

Here's the core question: do you enjoy Christmas celebrations? If yes, then go!! It's so fun and wonderful. If you don't really grok the overemphasis on the holiday, skip it. It's definitely a party for Christmas fans. I am stupid geeked to go and believe you me, my house in December reflects...

"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2017 - Believe in the Magic

That Twitter thread last night was invaluable, following that Hashtag. Our MVMCP tickets are a week from today!! I can't wait :)

Where should my first WDW meal be??

The Earl of Sandwich. It's so yummy.

Best grocery delivery options for WDW

I'm either using Shipt (basically identical to Instacart) or Amazon Prime Now. I posted on another thread. Garden Grocer has gotten insane and both Shipt and Amazon Prime have perishables. Shipt even does adult beverages :)

    Girl Scout Patches?

Oh, I want to know. I'm taking a brownie in a week. She'd love this since she's going to miss her troop meeting.

Rope drop for FOP is a mob be warned

You know, I'm glad this thread exists. My kids haven't even seen Avatar and I've gotta be honest, the further I get from it, I just remember it as a pretty movie. It never comes on and it doesn't resonate with me as a MUST WATCH film. I like AK when we were in 2011 and there's lots to do that...

    Obsessing about waiting

I am taking four excited small children. I really prefer to avoid waiting with four excited small children whenever possible. I love the four excited small children but my patience will start to wear thin on Day One. Thus hubby has planned our trip out with Touring Plans to minimize just that so...

    Magic Bands

I couldn't resist it. I bought the Jyn Erso one from the Parks store. They were on sale and there's like 90 varieties. I couldn't help it but it was on sale. Hubby had to have the Tron one and that was quite a bit more :)

"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2017 - Believe in the Magic

Last time we did it, we scoped out a spot in Tomorrowland and basically made a home base because here's the other thing to consider: small people get tired out. I'm thinking this time we'll end up scoping a spot on the parade route and tucking in and I'll drag small girls to see Moana. They'd...

Talk me into (or out of) memory maker

I'm going to talk you into it. As the mom photographer, the number of pics that I have with me and my children is actually pretty small. And after our last trip, I have a million pics of all the best spots WITH THE WHOLE FAMILY. I used the heck of it and it was worth every penny. I can't wait to...

Goodings, garden grocer or amazon prime now?

Here's my test on prices. It costs $2.19 in store for a box of Quaker Instant Oatmeal Apples and Cinnamon here in Michigan. I know because I buy it almost weekly. I just checked: the same box of Quaker Oatmeal is $5.69 on Garden Grocer, $3.39 on Amazon Now and $4.59 on Shipt. I know that I'm...

Goodings, garden grocer or amazon prime now?

I am also going to use Shipt when we're down there because you can order things delivered from Publix and ABC. I'm a Shipt member in Michigan attached to Meijer but it translates to Florida. I've checked it out and their prices are way better than Amazon or Green Grocer.

    Sharing credits with toddlers

I took my daughter at age 2.5 and honestly, at the Quick Service places, the kids meals were so huge that she split with the five year old with leftovers at every single place.

Booked the dining plan - here's why it's "worth it"

I concur with the running the numbers. Hubby and I are taking the four littlest plus MIL and this will make life so much easier. And we have so many favorite restaurants that are expensive that the TS credits are worth it. And snacks, those snacks go a long way if you're smart about it.

Resorts/Hotels near Disney with laundry and kitchenette in-room

Seconded on the Airbnb. I'm pretty geeked at our 4 bedroom condo with pool and laundry and full kitchen.

To fly or not to fly?

FLY!!! Seriously. We drove from Michigan in 2011 and it was a mistake. For all the issues associated with flying, the money you save driving is negligible in your circumstances.

We're going back! But they're teens now...

Still recovering six years later from taking teenagers, I'd suggest limiting your time at MK. The boys enjoyed the other parks pretty well but they did a lot of eyerolling at MK. I concur with the FastPass plans.
