    DAS changes starting June 18

Attempted to delete my comment but couldn't figure out how.

First timers - lots of questions

No problem at all! They have been fantastic for me and I know they will be so helpful for so many people if the word gets out. My adult daughter loves them, too-- she's got two super active, super loud kids so the earplugs block just enough of the noise to make it much more bearable!

    Matterhorn back saving tips!

We're just all older now, lol! Maybe when they went from 2 in a seat to 1 in a seat, because the front person wasn't leaning into something as hard as the back of the seat? I don't know since I never rode it when it was 2 people per seat. Just conjecture!

First timers - lots of questions

Just to clarify for people potentially finding this thread later: DAS is usually limited to the DAS user and 5 more people in their immediate party. However, in very specific, infrequent cases, Cast Members are allowed to make a judgement call. Most commonly, it's when there's more than 5+ kids...

First timers - lots of questions

The Loop earplugs are just earplugs on their own, no app or music or white noise coming through them. They are completely magical. I take them everywhere with me now, haha. They are small, fit in the ear canal just enough, and the outer grabby/pully part sits in the ear bowl itself and is just a...

    Military Salute and park hopping?

Yes, the Military Salute tickets are park-hoppers.

    Military Salute and park hopping?

There's no Shades of Green at Disneyland :-) Tickets for DLR now need to be pre-purchased and can no longer be bought at the ticket booths.

First timers - lots of questions

    (1) It's going to be around or a little bit busier than Spring Break since a lot of annual passes are blocked around Spring Break. So, Spring Break has a lot more tourists, while late May/early June will have more APs since several of the APs will be blocked around the second week of June. At...

Online Check In Vs In Person

While I realize my experience was at WDW, we did the check-in online, and it gave us 3 options for our room. You could only choose one option. We chose close to the transportation... and the view was a wall. We were indeed close to transportation... the closest to the transportation hub as...

Belts: a security tip + park report

Regarding the belt-- my husband is at that awkward weight loss place where one size of shorts is too big, but the smaller size is still too tight. If he takes off his belt, he's having to literally hold his shorts up to avoid undies exposure... so he'd just tell security about the belt, and...

    DAS group size

Typically, it's 6 guests, but they can make it more for a compelling case.

    Tropicana or Grand Legacy?

I much prefer Tropicana. Beds are more comfy, the walk is quicker/easier, and holy cow, so much less noisy not having the bar right there! Their little market is nice, too. (However my typical suggestion is to go to the Camelot hotel for water-- $1.25 for a large bottle of water!) If you are...

There are Blue Bayou reservations for next week!

I promise, it's not a big deal at all. I'm there every few weeks, and took it as a "just in case I want to" not because it was a major *WANT*. I wasn't even trying specifically to get it :) And a walk up/ same day ressie is pretty easy for 2 people as we're totally open with my schedule when I'm...

Disneyland ADR process - all at once or day by day

Yep, day-by-day at DL, and not always exactly at day 60.

There are Blue Bayou reservations for next week!

Would 1/31 at 1:40pm work okay for you? I'm totally flexible and go often, so I can "drop" the reservation at a specific time, and you should be able to pick it up. The reservation is for 2 people, but I'm fairly certain you can add additional people to the reservation day-of. If this would...

Fireworks and WoC on same night?

You're going to feel rushed. After the fireworks, there's a mass exodus, and all those kids (and the parents carrying them) are tired, so everyone is pretty much shuffling down Main Street. When you've got places to go, that shuffling will be frustrating/annoying/aggravating if you're anything...

    Which accommodations would you choose?

I stay at Majestic Gardens mostly, and they have a lift on their busses and vans for the ECVs.

Does Club Level make sense for our trip?

Are you saying they should take the Mickey Ears *off* before the Zoom meeting?!? That takes away half the fun! Signed, I Take My MS Teams Meetings in the Esplanade With My Ears On

Question on applying unused ticket to Magic Key

This was my experience as well.

    Which accommodations would you choose?

I totally didn't even think about if it could or couldn't. I totally assumed it would be ADA compliant. And if it isn't, shame on them.
