Restaurants options and fears after going to TripAdvisor reviews.

Of the restaurants you mention, I've only eaten at Chez Remy. The food was really good, service not so...maybe we were just unlucky!

Insight in parade & fireworks times (aug 2023)

Disneyland Park is usually open until 11pm in August. Last year, Stars on Parade was at 5.30pm so we ate straight after that, either in the park at 6/6.15 or at a hotel by 6.30/6.45pm (depending on where we watched the parade from). Have a great time. We'll be there this August too!

Is it crazy busy in August

We were there 15th to 19th this year and go every August (minus 2020 and 2021 of course). It's busy but the atmosphere is great, and with long park hours you can get so much done! EMH is a must in my opinion. Head straight to Peter Pan at 8.30am as the queue builds rapidly. Make the most of...

    Annual Pass Query

I'm not sure about third party sellers but you can buy a 1-day park ticket online from the official site and have the cost of that deducted. I've done this before and will be doing so again in August (when we buy our next APs) to save queuing for tickets on the gate.

    Extra magic hour question

I'm not sure about other rides but BTM FP opened at around 9.45 on our last visit, with a return time of 10.15 I think. But we only did that once as we went on it multiple times in EMH so didn't need to! 😊

Best way to do Crush’s Coaster a lot

It is absolutely worth it. We're August regulars and can't imagine not having EMH (or Extra Magic Time as it's now called). You'll need to go straight to Crush at park opening. As cwis said, SR is hit and miss and isn't as time-saving on Crush as, say, Ratatouille because Crush loads in pairs...

    Photo Pass+

We dined at Auberge de Cendrillon last month and you don't get the photo with Cinderella before you go in anymore. No photographer there at all but we took lots of photos ourselves. The annual Photopass+ has been well worth it for us though - 3 trips with our APs and hundreds of ride and...

Impresions from an American's day trip to DLP from Paris

Fantasyland may have closed at 8pm (it closes early to prepare for Illuminations) but Disneyland Park would've been open until 10 or 11pm in May. Illuminations is shown then, every night at park closing. There've been no cancellations recently or we would have heard 😊

    Character help

You're in luck as Marie has a regular meet during the Christmas season (which starts on 10th November).

    Summer deals/availability?

    2. Yes, definitely check other countries' deals. The French site often has an 'under 12s go free' offer which, with your children being 8 and 10, could save you a fair amount. UK is usually under 7s free.

    Upcoming Ratatouille refurbishment (Fall 2018)

Good news guys!!! Refurb will now be from 2nd to 12th October!

How far in advance do I need to buy Park tix?

The tickets aren't date-specific so you can just buy your Mini tickets and use them on the best days depending on the weather. You can't use them on the day of purchase so buy at least one day in advance.

    Converting Day Pass to AP

Yes, this is allowed, I've done it before. I probably wouldn't park hop after exchanging though. Hope this helps.

    Upcoming Ratatouille refurbishment (Fall 2018)

It's so confusing isn't it? One thing's for sure, I won't be riding it this trip. Or dining at Cowboy Cookout :(

    Upcoming Ratatouille refurbishment (Fall 2018)

On the long term schedule of closures, Ratatouille is stated as being closed from the end of July. However, on the park hours it's not shown as closed until August 27th (my arrival day).

Last weekend in August - best day to visit?

I would always choose a weekday over a weekend so I'd go for the Friday, even though it'll still be busy. We are regular August visitors I would go for the park hoppers too. Have a great time!

What is best day of week to visit DLP?

I would go earlier in the week of you can. The French are in school and whilst I can't speak for the whole country, we in Essex don't break up until the Thursday.

Chuck Wagon Cafe at Hotel Cheyenne?

I did a dummy booking for December and the message is still there so who knows! However, we ate there in August and they still had all the usual offerings; plenty of delicious food, hot and cold. Capacity was reduced but we had no problems at all (hadn't booked!) and would definitely go back.
