What would you like to see in the new era?

Trim the fat and cut the rigid structure. The best part of the old episodes is that they were genuine conversations that may spill into other related topics, which sometimes led to a 90 minute episode. It felt natural and like you were actually at the table with friends. Nowadays, it's felt...

    My Official Statement

Let's be real. Those toxic workplace stories are not directly applicable to John or Kevin. They are not the ones who were assaulted, fired for lies, or belittled. They were not strung through years of harassment and verbal manipulation. At best, they didn't know - but that does not make them...

    My Official Statement

Feel free to ban me, but this is just as tone deaf as the original post. None of us care that John & Kevin got mean comments, they are hardly the victims in this scenario and should not be treated as such. As someone who was a victim of sexual assault, that's laughable.

Nothing like a passive aggressive statement to start that continued growth and improvement.

After 11 long months of planning, we'll officially be arriving at Universal in just under 24 hours for our one night at Royal Pacific before moving onto the Polynesian! :jumping1: Hope everyone here has an amazing trip!

Did the usual big toiletry shop this past weekend and have those put aside with the suitcases. Also checked and my partner's MB+ is tentatively scheduled to arrive today, which would be a nice surprise. 10 days and counting ::yes::

Officially down to three weeks! Suitcases are set up in the guest room and have some things collected there (our MNSSHP shirts, gift cards, etc.), but nothing is formally packed. I'll probably start that next week.

Definitely makes sense. I'm bracing for higher crowds and if it turns out to be back to normal, it'll just make for an even better trip. The only dining reservation that I'm finding weirdly difficult to snag is a Boma breakfast for Labor Day itself, which is our Off/MNSSHP day. On every other...

I snagged ours for 60+5 (September 7) and there was pretty wide availability for two people, including around prime fireworks viewing times. That being said, that was the first date I looked based on our draft schedule. There was some availability on earlier days as well!

Thanks! Fortunately, it caught up yesterday evening around ~9 or so and we were all set for this morning. Managed to snag Steakhouse 71, Jiko, Homecomin' and Ohana, which covered all of our top picks for this trip :yay: Woohoo! There was a good bit of availability for the backend of our trip...

Mentally preparing myself for the early morning tomorrow. The Disney website doesn’t appear to be updated for us, since it only shows up through the end of August. Thankfully, the app looks to be showing September 1, so might have to resort to that if the website doesn’t catch up

Currently waiting for the updated park hours to come out to finalize our desired days & plan what ADRs to book for each day. We have a tentative schedule using the most common hours from August, so fingers crossed that it doesn't require many updates. Outside of that, we've finalized our...

    Yesterday's DIS Unplugged show

Not a frequent commentator on these types of discussions, but I've been listening back to some of the old podcast episodes (think 2009-2012 era) and I do feel this point when I relisten to the segments that Teresa and Julie hosted. I'm talking about things like Julie discussing the baby care...

Park tickets and reservations have been acquired! We decided to go through TicketsatWork and opted for the Park Hopper & Genie+ bundle - a little bit of savings, but given that we're only doing 4 days over Labor Day weekend, we'd rather have the flexibility. Only big ticket item remaining is...

Thank you! :thanks: Neither of us have stayed there and it'll be his first time staying on property, so he decided to splurge for something special. Glad to "see" so many of y'all are staying there as well!
