Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Thanks for the help! We are in a queen room. Yes, the sofa might work, but I was trying to figure out what options are available. I am hoping that his pain isn't so bad that he needs options and is fine in the bed but I wanted to be prepared. Now that I know that they have a chair/ottoman in...

Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Thanks for the help! I have another question - are there rooms at YC with a chair/ottoman? DH may need to sleep in a chair due to pain. I thought that I saw a pic with a chair/ottoman, but I can't even remember which resort it was. Thanks!

Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Hi - can anyone confirm that either market at YC or BC have 1/2 gallons of cow milk and a non cow milk (any type - soy, almond, oat, etc.)? We are staying at YC and considering packing cereal to eat in the room (2 of us prefer cow milk and 2 of us prefer non cow milk). Or maybe even available...

    Fear of heights and Skyliner

This is really helpful. It sounds very similar to me. I didn't think that you could get fear of heights under control - can you? I have had it since I was a young child, and I am not young now (nor a child :)). It is difficult to explain - it isn't a fear of something happening. It is...

    Fear of heights and Skyliner

Thank you! This is helpful. I was hoping that it felt more like a room with windows, like a plane or the monorail. I am fine on the monorail - why didn't they build more of those??? (Cost, I know) I will definitely avoid the Skyliner!

    Fear of heights and Skyliner

Hi - We haven't been since 2017, which was before the Skyliner was open. I need someone with a similar fear of heights to weigh in, so I am going to describe my fear in detail. I know some people have a worse case and some people have a more mild case. I would love to ride the Skyliner in...

    Resort suggestions for March 2022

Why is BC your least favorite of the Epcot resorts?

Please help me choose a resort: CBR, POFQ, or AoA suites?!

AoA. The theming is so festive - your kids will love it (I love it, too!). And you will love the space, two bathrooms, and kitchenette for breakfast. I just re read your post - first trip with young kids and you will definitely like the separate sleeping areas. Stay in one room when kids are...

What do you do when you can't decide on a resort

Pick one with the best discount and always assume that you will be back! That's the key to me - you aren't missing anything because you can always try it next time. With kids that age, I would go CR. The monorail going through the building is so intriguing for kids.

    Blue Bayou accommodations?

I appreciate the information. That's good to know that it isn't considered a must do by everyone. Maybe we will just skip it and go to Cafe Orleans! I am glad that I asked.

    Blue Bayou accommodations?

I would like to eat at Blue Bayou for the atmosphere but not crazy about the menu. I eat vegetarian and not a bunch of gluten. The one option is a veg pasta with cream sauce, and that doesn't appeal to me. I am happy to eat sides/appetizers, but there isn't much to choose from. The Cafe...

Airport Proximity to DLR and Ground Transportation Information Superthread (READ FIRST POST FOR OVERVIEW!)

Thanks! Great information. Good points on saving money vs time, sharing vs not sharing transportation. This is a short trip so time is important! I like the $29 cab ride from SNA, so I think that we will go that route. I will look for something direct to LAX like Lyft or Uber or the private...

Airport Proximity to DLR and Ground Transportation Information Superthread (READ FIRST POST FOR OVERVIEW!)

We are flying into SNA and out of LAX, staying at Disneyland Hotel, 11/17-11/20. Disneyland Express has recent poor reviews, so I am looking at Super Shuttle and would consider another. I see Prime Time and Karmel shuttles listed on a thread. I am open to Uber/Lyft but concerned about...

Was there talk at one time about upgrading Art of Animation to a MODERATE resort?

My understanding is that values will have tiers (ie, price differences), and in general, the resorts will not be tied as strongly to the resort categories (value, mod, deluxe). I think that I heard that on the Disney Dish podcast. In order for AoA to change to mod, other things would need to be...

Difference between a Value and a Moderate

The grounds - icon theming (values) vs landscaping to theme (mods) Restaurants - no table service at values. Bus service - many of the mods have multiple stops; values tend to have one, which I like because I have found helps manage crowds; It also seems like the value bus stops at the parks...

Two adults, November off season, deluxe, 3 or 4 nights, where?

Thanks! This is for a milestone birthday celebration, so I don't mind spending a bit. I just want to stay in nice accommodations (not tired or worn) and feel like a Disney resort. I will check out some pics of the rooms and look at prices of YC, BC, and BWI.

Two adults, November off season, deluxe, 3 or 4 nights, where?

I am considering pricing Swan/Dolphin, but how are they with theme? I am concerned that we won't feel like we are at Disney. I've never been in either of them (lobby or restaurants) That's not bad. Have you been to the Epcot resorts recently? I see the pics of Boardwalk, but they look...

Two adults, November off season, deluxe, 3 or 4 nights, where?

I am looking at 3 or 4 nights over the weekend of Nov 16-17 since it looks like lower crowds. I haven't planned the days exactly. Definitely MK and a weekday at Epcot (we haven't been to Food and Wine, and I understand weekends can be crowded). Maybe a half day at DS if I can get FP for Slinky...

Two adults, November off season, deluxe, 3 or 4 nights, where?

Any advice from recent stays? Leaning towards an Epcot resort. I don't want to stay at WL because we have been there before. And GF is probably too much money (prefer under $500 a night). Thanks!
