At least our first use was the week before it shutdown so we should get most of our money back but I would still rather have the pass so we could fit in more trips once it opens back up.

Our timing for finally breaking down and getting annual passes was impeccable. At least we got one trip out of them before the parks closed last year. Sigh..

Well thanks to the delay in starting the season due to COVID the open week has now gone away so it looks like November will be our only trip this fall (unless we have football playoffs, though at the moment it looks like there won't be any for his school's classification)

We booked the DLH for 11/24-11/29, now just waiting to see if the parks will be open and if we can get in, fingers crossed

WDW start their parties in August so it makes sense they went ahead and made the call. Unfortunately for DL I am afraid we may have to wait a while to find out something one way or another.

I agree with what others have said, DL wins due to the roaming character interactions. Also, while WDW has more character meal options, IMO the Plaza Inn breakfast is the best character meal at either resort (in terms of character interactions).

Used to be casually stroll down main street and maybe check max pass to line up some fastpasses. Now it is looking for a spot with good cellular data to get a RotR boarding pass.
