    Topolino’s — still a great restaurant?

I would give a slight nod to Topolino’s but Steakhouse 71 is my third favorite Disneyworld breakfast spot. Ale and Compass is #2. Love their mini breakfast buffet with the ability to order an entree for under $25. The small buffet is well spaced out and has fruit, pastries and biscuits and gravy...

    Topolino’s — still a great restaurant?

I really enjoyed the sour cream waffles as well. The bacon was crisp as I like it, I was given a side of scrambled eggs when asked, the POG juice was yummy and we really enjoyed the container of pastries and they did give refills on those. All in all a nice character breakfast experience where...

    DVC Member Cruise 2025

I was hoping this sailing would visit the new island oh well! I would also be interested in having an idea of what pricing for these member cruises is like. Would anyone like to share past experiences and whether they thought a member cruise was worth what I know will be an inflated cost? I...

Are Restaurants Easier to Reserve Now?

I was able to get everything I wanted yesterday (including Topolino's and MK Seats and Sweets ) except the dreaded Space 220 Lounge. Nothing was available for 60+5. There was limited dinner availability for 60+6 and 60+7 but we will not be in Epcot those two days. For our September trip I think...

That feeling when you skipped booking a cruise on board

This would totally be me!!! I keep saying we will probably not cruise again within the 2 year period but then you never know. It's not like you loose anything by booking the placeholder. Thank you OP for this sage reminder. Book a placeholder on board! :)

    Concierge Question

Who has gone back to a regular cruise after a concierge sailing? We have an upcoming Wish cruise in a few months sailing concierge for the first time on a Disney ship. So excited! We are also considering a January 2025 Fantasy cruise and the price difference between a regular family veranda...

    Boardwalk 1 bedroom Stay

BCV is one of our absolute favorites as well! We will not go to the parks before our cruise. We are staying a week after the cruise at Riviera and mostly prefer Epcot and HS so this is perfect. I am so happy the waitlist came through and we look forward to seeing a refurbished BCV room!

    Boardwalk 1 bedroom Stay

One thing I did not mention in my original post is that I had put in a waitlist for Beach Club about a month ago and it just came through! I panicked a bit when I received the email that my BLT reservation was cancelled. I logged in to the member site and saw that beautiful Beach Club...

    Boardwalk 1 bedroom Stay

Thanks so much for the replies given thus far! We will only be spending 2 days before our Wish cruise and then spending a week at Riviera after the cruise which is one reason I was leaning toward keeping the BLT one bedroom which gives us a couple of days being near MK. I do like the idea of...

    Boardwalk 1 bedroom Stay

We have never stayed at BWV before. We have the opportunity to change our early May reservation from BLT to BWV in a one bedroom. I am concerned about the renovation. Not that renovations will be taking place around us but the possibility of getting an non-refurbished room. I am sure no one...

    Contemplating First Solo Trip

I hope someone responds to your question. I’m DVC so plan to stay in a studio at places like Riviera, Bay Lake or Beach Club.

    Contemplating First Solo Trip

I am once again blown away by all your responses. I feel like I should rename this post Solo Women Empowering Solo Women to Travel (Disney). You all are awesome!! I am getting so excited now about traveling solo!!! I will go back and follow the links you all provided. This is just brilliant...

    Contemplating First Solo Trip

I cannot tell you all how sharing your experiences has helped me! I grew up in a large family, then later there were lots of nieces and nephews and a husband and my child so being alone for any amount of time was a luxury I never experienced. I have one child but he stopped going on Disney trips...

    Contemplating First Solo Trip

Has anyone grown tired of trying to convince family and friends to accompany you on Disney trips? I am thinking about just focusing on solo trips. Can I ask how you fight loneliness on your trips surrounded by families and groups? Also for the ladies do you have any concerns for your safety on...

How many more days until your Disney cruise - Part 3

185 days until we set sail on the Wish!

Don't know why, but DCL still holds a special place in our family.

I can relate to this post so much! There is just something about a Disney cruise that is intangible and indescribable. We have cruised Carnival (Freedom of the Seas in a junior suite), Royal Caribbean (Oasis of the Seas in a grand suite) and a regular ocean view verandah on the Dream. I only...

Disney Vacation Club Hurricane Policy: Everything You Need to Know

I was able to take advantage of this protocol and cancel my trip (would have arrived on Sunday). The points showed up almost immediately in the proper use year. Calling Member Services is key. You cannot cancel the trip online. Just sharing my experience for anyone else who made need it.

How much do you use Uber/Lyft at WDW?

We use Minnie Vans more and more to get around especially for resort to resort dining. It is not cheap but I build the cost into our trip. I have paid anywhere from $30-$50 per trip with tip so average around $40 per trip. Ridiculous? Yes. Part of our vacation experience? Yes again. :)

Moana's Journey of Water DVC previews in September?

As I age I see the value of less "walking" opportunities and more "sitting and letting the world go by" type of activities on my Disney vacations. I am holding out hope that this walk-through attraction has nice benches. But I am fairly sure that will not happen. Lol!

Limited time offer: Eligible Members can save 20% on a Disney VIP Tour!

I was headed here to see if anyone has booked. I have always wanted to do this and a sale is a good thing right? I need someone to either talk me off the ledge or convince me to just jump and book this!
