    Disneyland Reopening Speculation Superthread

For HM, a few vloggers mentioned that yesterday and today there was sometimes an option to take stairs so that the elevator was bypassed. That area was still decked out a bit. I'm not sure if that helped with the wait times.

Knotts Berry Farm Opening May 21,2021

I got the day I wanted, but waited a few hours before really trying. The site was a mess around 9 -11, so I stopped visiting and did some work. Came back later and got a timer page and stayed on that until it was my turn.

Ideas for out of staters staying at the Grand?

Bowers Museum has a Disney Archives exhibit. I believe it's about 15 minutes away from Disneyland

Poll: Do you have tickets? When are you trying to go?

Yes Late May, early June. My tickets expire in January, so I would rather use them now than wait for later. In 2019, I traded having an AP for going to more hard ticket events (HM Anniversary, Oogie Boogie, D23 expo) and I bought one multi-day in January 2020 that I never got to use.

Los Angeles with Kids? Recommendations on what to do/where to stay?

The Warner Brothers tour is excellent. Depending on your interests, the Hollywood Bowl and Pantages may also be fun. Exposition Park has the Natural History Museum.

    Knotts Food Festivals

I don't know what this Taste will bring, but the previous one had pictures with Santa, Peanuts characters, carolers, and recorded shows projected onto a big screen. One of the booth items is a cookie decorating kit.

Exciting news. From the way it is written, I don't think it will be a Food and Wine event. I'm picturing familiar, comforting foods being available. Plaza Chicken, soup bowls, etc.

If their buffet at Cafe Sierra is up and running, definitely splurge on a meal there. That place is the real best kept secret if you love seafood.

Disneyland Gingerbread Cookie - Help with finding the right recipe

@tammie33 How were your gingerbread experiments? I just found out about this place. https://www.thegateauxshoppe.com/ I don't know if the gingerbread Mickeys are seasonal but I tried one and it was very close to the one sold at DLR during the holidays.

Get Excited: Downtown Disney Has Now Reopened Superthread!

Why not park at Gardenwalk? If you park close to the Magic Way side you are about a 10 minute walk from the Harbor entrance. The first hour is free, then I think it's $3 per hour afterwards.

Aulani in the Time of Covid- a Dec 2020 TR- Complete

I'm really enjoying your report and just wanted to chime in on Cinnamon's. It's a great place and when I went a few years ago in October, they had a spooky Harry Potter theme going on. I had asked a few locals from church what they recommended and Cinnamon's won over Eggs N Things.

I'm being cautious and following the rules. I wish more places were open to spread out people and that rulebreakers received consequences instead of the businesses who are doing their best to comply with ever changing guidelines. That said, I know several people who have died from Covid...
