    Magic Bands With Canadian Tickets

A passport doesn't prove you're a Canadian resident. Plenty of non-residents with Canadian passports.

How much money for kid soueniers?

We give our kids $10/day (USD) while traveling. We're doing a cruise beforehand and then Disney, so that's $130 each of them. They usually don't spend it all and they get to keep the rest.

    Epcot Flower & Garden

I've only been to Epcot during flower and garden. Now I can't imagine what it's like without it.

Lot of rides closed off-and-on today at MK. Fluke? Or has this been a regular thing?

Now I'm nervous. Last 2 trips to Disney (WDW in 20013 and DL in 2011) had Splash Mountain closed for maintenance. THIS year is the year my kids get to ride Splash Mountain. Fingers crossed.

    Getting a 4th fp

This is my strategy too. I think it's a waste to get a fast pass too early because wait times are already short. Be there at rope drop, ride 2 or 3 blockbuster rides with little wait, then use your FP when the lines start getting long.

What is the one disney park parade you miss?

    Electrical Parade for me.

    The most reliable crowd predictor

With the exception of avoiding EMH, we're simply doing the parks in the order we want. With 5 days, we're starting and ending with MK and doing the other 3 parks in between.

Vegas with Teens - Would you splurge?

I took my teenage kids to Vegas last summer and we ended up staying at the Palazzo. It is a sister hotel of the Venetian (located side by side) and in my opinion, better. Rooms all have sunken living room with plenty of space, and the 2 hotels share the same swimming pool complex. We got...

    Disney Dining Plan

It depends on how much you eat, what and where. For us, we rent a 2 bedroom condo with a kitchen. We have a rental car. We buy groceries from Walmart. We eat most of our meals at the hotel or we pack snacks for the parks. This way, it doesn't cost us much more than what we would spend for...

What's a reasonable price to have a will drawn up?

$350-600 is a decent price on the lower end of the spectrum. We did ours ourselves with a kit for $20. I probably should have it done professionally sometime.

    Magic Bands

Personally, I don't think they're worth it. It's a band that goes around your wrist instead of a card that goes in your pocket or around a lanyard. If you think they look cool, or if they will make a nice souvenir, then I say go for it. But if you're like me and have a big family, the price...

    Summer Bay resort recent stays?

I'm staying there i late march. The recent reviews on TripAdvisor have mostly been very favourable. I'm surprised by lelesmith's comments because I understood that all the room has been recently renovated. I booked my hotel on Hotwire, so I can't change now.

    2Bd suites off-site

We are staying at Summer Bay Resort. 2br, 2ba condo about 20-25 minutes from the parks. It's a little further away than we like but the price was right. Booked on Hotwire.

What to do on an "off" day?

Just about to do my 2nd trip to WDW. Haven't done an off-day yet, but if I did, it would include: - sleeping in - hanging out by the pool - drinking in the afternoon - napping after the afternoon buzz wor off - shopping / souvenir shopping - downtown Disney - dinner at a nice restaurant...

Best shopping with teens for brand names?

My early teenage daughters would like to do some shopping while we are in Orlando. I am looking for suggestions on the best places to shop. They like the common popular brands of clothes that you'd expect girls their age (12 and 15) to like: Sephora, Lululemon, Adidas, Vans, Pink, and so on...

Soarin wait times at rope drop??

One benefit is that you can squeeze more time out of your trip. Say the park opens at 9, you've done your first ride by say 9:10 a.m. rather than 9:50.
