Annual Pass - would this work?

Well, it worked. Getting the AP was okish. Went to Donalds Desk and it was pretty quick. Only trouble was then having to queue up at normal ticket window to buy priviliege tickets each day. Bonus was free parking and free wheelchairs too. Disabled parking is in disneyland hotel so you can...

Disneyland Paris with disabled person in wheelchair - experience - NEVER AGAIN

Visit Florida every year. Last went to DLP about 10 years ago. This time was a chance to take elderly MIL with grandkids - she wont fly so DLP was the plan. Good points:- 1. Green card system is very good. All rides have a separate entrance. Some of the wait times were a bit variable but it...

Annual Pass - would this work?

Ah OK. So I can only get 5 tickets (I'd need to 8 to cover two days for the other 4). We're planning main park only saturday and both parks sunday. Guess Im better off buying 4 tickets on sunday and 1 on saturday? (so 5 total) and then using 20% discount for other 3? Realistically, is this...

Annual Pass - would this work?

4 adults and one child going for two days. 2 day park hopper (£121, child £107 with attractiontix) - total £591 (£12 cheaper if I but a 1/1 and a 1/2 via picniq) If one person buys a magic plus annual pass for E259 (£226) then you get to buy 10 guest ticket at E39 each. (Only problem is its 5...

Disney "refunding" unused days on 14 day ultimate tickets?

Yeh. buts is a 14 day length of stay pass not a 14 days pass. i.e. if you only go once in the 14 days its tough. What would they refund anyway? No chance of getting anything off Disney. We bought an annual pass one year and three days nto our holiday, my FIL passed away and, sadly, we had...

Slightly oversized bag - will I get charged?

For hand luggage they usually specify the max dimensions. So its just a cage thing sometimes combined into a weighing scale too. My hand luggage this time is exactly spot on the max size in all three dimensions. Could be an issue if you count the wheels as well. :-(

Epcot - Leaving via International Gateway - Where to Park

Never tried this but can you actually park near the International Gateway exit of Epcot and enter/exit the park that way? Or is it hotel only parking? Or is Boardwalk down that way? If so, how fars the walk?

Slightly oversized bag - will I get charged?

Yeh. I guess its easy to check the weight since they get weighed anyway but not so easy to measure all the dimensions of a bag and then work out its 64" not 62".

Slightly oversized bag - will I get charged?

Yeh. I notice that. Over in Europe its been like that for a while especially on budget airlines. We used to fly to the US and be amazed at how many bags you could take. Think those days are gone now. :-( We do get one free checked bag each on transatlantic flights (and connecting flights)

Slightly oversized bag - will I get charged?

Yeh. I'm sure some of the airline bag fees are there just so they can enforce if they really want to or someone is blatantly over.

Slightly oversized bag - will I get charged?

I dont think emailing them is going to get me anything other than the official rules. i.e. 62" and thats it. I've emailed them about other things like the 6 month passport thing and all they ever do is refer you to the text quoted on their website!!! Prob just go with it to be honest...

Slightly oversized bag - will I get charged?

Its like a rolling cylindrical duffle bag thing. Its not that big. I measured it and its 64" linear so unless they actually measure it they wont be able to tell I guess. Its just that $175 if its 2" over aint going to be cool. :-( I'm hoping this is just a quoted fee to scare people off...

Slightly oversized bag - will I get charged?

Just wondered how fussy the airlines (specifically Delta) are? Baggage size is a linear 62" but one of our bags is about 65". Do they really check that carefully or just charge if its way too big? I see for Delta its $175 for an oversize bag !!!!

    Travel Republic postage issue

OK. Thread title has now been changed. Maybe I was a little hasty and, yes, it is in the terms and conditions. Also, its good of Travel Republic to come on here and try and clarify things. However, I still think, its a little confusing when you check out you're given two options, special...

But they're not allowed to do this. Its considered a hidden charge. Fair enough if the post office take ages to deliver them, not their fault.

    Travel Republic postage issue

No. Recorded is just as good. Its not your problem until the goods arrive at your home. If they get lost in transit, its not your problem - that's the law. If something got lost in the post, first thing to do is phone credit card company. They will automatically give you a refund unless...
