Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE RESORTS Information & Questions

With the Marriott shift to Bonvoy, does anyone know what I should expect in terms of gift/amenities as a Titanium (formerly Platinum Plus Elite) member? I have two rooms booked for myself and my mom next month under my Marriott account (one on points / one paid). I seem to remember last time I...

    Sanaa lunch inquiry

Totally worth it - it's one of our favorites! The servers have always been super nice, too, so perhaps you could ask for mild spices or sauces on the side if you aren't as adventurous eaters.

    Starting from scratch again

Check out tag sales in your area (just spend a Saturday driving around) and Christmas Tree Shops (especially their clearance section) to supplement with some basics you can't find at the tag sales.

    Via Napoli Pizza?

Pepperoni or prosciutto and arugula. We tried the Picante (sausage and mozz) on our last trip but weren't totally in love with it.

    Thoughts on Sanaa

Sanaa is one of our must-dos. The bread service is great, but be aware it is a TON of food. I really like their sampler (lamb and shrimp are awesome) as a meal and a lot of the options are easy to split if you want to try a few things.

Kona and Boma- When to Eat?

We just tried Kona for the first time for dinner last Friday and were very impressed! I would recommend trying it for dinner if the menu appeals to you. I wasn't expecting a lot and the ambiance, service, and food were excellent.

What is one souvenir in Disney World that you have always wanted?

Lego castle for sure - I wouldn't have a problem paying to ship it home, but can't justify the space it would take up once it gets there!

Best snacks to pack for at the PARKS

Justin's peanut butter / almond butter packets are AMAZING and the perfect boost on a tiring day. We also bring a couple bottles of water and apples in the backpack.

Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE RESORTS Information & Questions

Just came back from my first stay at the Swan and I have to say - I was nervous after reading some reviews beforehand but we had an amazing time! It was so nice to be able to walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios and I loved our updated room. As an SPG Platinum member, we got the free breakfast...

Has anyone tried the five course tasting menu at Artist Point? Do you know what the menu includes (can you choose from the regular menu or is it pre-set)? Considering it for a special celebration. Thanks!

    Christmas and annual pass?

I bought an annual pass around the time of the Food and Wine festival and took advantage of the free glasses. Are there any similar giveaways for Christmas that I should be looking out for? Thanks!

Dinosaur ride- is it scary for grown ups?

I am an adult and I think it's pretty scary. I don't like the ride one bit, but usually go on with others in my group and keep my eyes closed and grip the bar the entire time. The darkness and sudden jerking really gets to me for some reason.

    New AP categories..??

Darn - that's what I thought so thanks for confirming. Guess I'll be paying whatever extra they decide to increase the ticket prices by :(

    New AP categories..??

Is there any way to upgrade a regular ticket I have already purchased to an AP without physically visiting the parks? I know I want an annual pass but won't be in Orlando until November (and don't care about losing the 6 weeks between now and then).
