From our late January weekend trip. Had to drop by the Fort for our Fort fix. Will do it again in April.

We were at the Fort now and it’s 53 degrees. Todays high is 72. Was very cool yesterday. Hoodies and jackets. Gloves had hats for sale. Looping requires a blanket. We made sure we were ready Before we left. It should moderate and be warm soon. The new fire pit is a keeper!!!

Thanks. We asked because you can’t use them at the Shades of Green.

Can you use laundry pods in the washing machines at the Fort? 19 days and counting…..

From our recent December trip. Was a great Christmas trip. Hard to get a rocker but we finally did. Got to sit at the bar for the first time in a very LONG time.

Sorry for the delay we were there on June 4th. New sand on the old Clementine Beach. Fresh sand in a large pile at the end of the beach for spreading. All the weeds are cut and gone. Heard from a cast member that they wanted to have it completed by the time of the 1st HDDR. We shall see...

We will be on property next Friday for a week. We will drop by the Fort for a peek. If someone is currently there. Please give us an update.

Since the Hoop De Doo is coming back has WDW did any clean up of the disaster that has grown up on Clementine‘s beach? We were there in February and it was quite a mess. Tall weeds an bushes. Skrim / fencing falling down. A disgrace to what it was once. We will be there on the 4th of June...

It's still a mess. That beach held so many memories for me and my family watching our kids grow up there. It's a shame they continue letting look like a dump. A weed eater and a lawnmower / Bush hog would do wonders for it. Very sad.

My magic band didn't open the gate half the time last week. The guard would ask our site and our name and he would open it. I had the band reset 3 times. I will use my phone next time.

Made it down to the Fort for a week. Perfect weather and yes made it to the porch several times. Going back for a quick weekend in late November. Cant wait to see the Christmas decorations. The Halloween decorations were great.

My original comment about Crocket's Tavern being closed was about the inside bar. The window was open for drinks. I peered through the window and the bar stools were gone and chairs stacked up. We had many awesome times sitting at the bar and interacting with the bartenders. Very sad times...

The wife and I took a boat over to visit for a few hours. Very disappointed. The mess that was made and now abandoned for the new resort looks horrible. The scrim around the beach is falling down. Weeds and mess everywhere. Two rocking chairs on the porch. Crocket's Tavern closed. Very...

WOW.. The lead announcer couldn't even remember the complete name of Ft Wilderness. I lasted about a minute. 1st week in October... We are so ready.

It all depends on how much you want to pay for one.....
