    Help me decide please

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately, I can't reverse the stay and do the value first. I am booking with an AP rate and CSR is sold out the 2nd half of the week. I did find a room at ASMu for just a couple dollars more than AS Sports. It is still double beds but the girls like the theme much...

    Help me decide please

I am headed to WDW with my 3 daughters for 6 nights in June. The girls are 15, 13, and 2. I am looking at 2 options: 1) all 6 nights in a standard room at POP or 2) 3 nights in a standard view room at CSR followed by 3 nights in a preferred room at AS Sports. The price difference is $38...

New ticket system coming to WDW - Begins October 16th

The kids won't be with us on the first trip in October. It is for DH and I to enjoy Food and Wine. I think we can each book one bounce back offer, so I would book July and DH would book December.

New ticket system coming to WDW - Begins October 16th

Anyone want to weigh in on this ticket decision? I could really use some help as my spreadsheets are getting out of control! - DH and I are going to WDW Oct 10-15, 2018 with 5 day park hoppers from UCT - Notice we check out the day BEFORE we will know the new pricing! - We might be going with...

2018 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: August 30 to November 12, 2018

Hi! DH and I are planning our 1st trip to F&W this October (no kids - which is exciting because we have 5 of them). We are Disney veterans with 15+ trips under our belts. Our focus will be on the kiosks although we might add one or two of the low cost seminars. We will have 4 park days -...

Which queues are so good you don't FP just so you can experience it?

You don't actually have to touch the wall to get the effect. You can wave your hand about 2 inches in front of it and it will still move the honey!

Thanks everyone! Sounds like I will bring both strollers.

    Riding alone

Thank you! Yes, you are correct - I did mean we would all ride but she would need to be in a separate ride vehicle from the other 3 of us. I am glad we will all fit on Peter Pan. So, Dumbo and Buzz seem to be the main ones.

    compare the walking please

Could someone compare the amount of walking you do at Universal to that at Disney? We are a party of 7 (me, DH, 13yo, 11yo, 9yo, 3 days shy of 5 yo, and 2 days shy of 1 yo). I am trying to decide if I want to bring one or two strollers. The almost 5yo has a genetic disorder that makes him...

    Riding alone

I am taking my 11 yo, almost 5 yo (birthday 4 days after trip), and almost 1 yo (birthday 3 days after trip), for a single day at Magic Kingdom later this month. None of us are thrill riders,so we won't be upset at missing anything with a height restriction. However, I want to prep the 11 yo...

Don't be afraid of summertime or holidays! Our experience...(long post)

Wow! I am really impressed that you got 12 FP at MK! I usually travel with a group of 9 also. After the 3 pre-booked FPs, were you able to search on a group of 9 or did you have to break it up? Any tips on securing the extra FP for a big group?

    Ticket ? - WWYD

This is an interesting idea! I priced it out. Please make sure I got this right. The cheapest hotel with EP is Royal Pacific. One night is $415. The cost to get unlimited EP for DH and the 2 who will do thrill rides for both days is $720. The cost to get one time use EP for each day for...

    Ticket ? - WWYD

Thanks! That is what I am leaning toward. I needed to hear others say it is a good idea.

    Ticket ? - WWYD

YES! For a big family. The cheapest room is $235/night (including tax) and we need two rooms. We can get a 3 bedroom condo with a private splash pool at an offsite location for $155/night - That is a savings of $315/night!

    Ticket ? - WWYD

DH doesn't think that one attraction is worth $330 (the cost to upgrade all of our tickets from base to park-to-park). :(

    Ticket ? - WWYD

First a little background: We are going for our first trip during the last week of July. We are a family of 7 - the kids are 13, 11, 9, 4, and 11 months. To save money, we are staying offsite. DH, the 13 yo and 9 yo will ride roller coasters. The rest of us will not but the 11 yo has read...

    Things to do with baby

Thanks! I am not eliminating all shows, I just think I will need to mix it up a bit. Personally, I would be happy to go from show to show all day, but I think baby might get bored with that approach. I think she would be great with the rides you mentioned because there will be moving...

    Things to do with baby

We are planning our first trip for this summer. I have 5 kids who will be 13, 11, 8 or 9 (may have his birthday while we are there), 4, and 11 months. While DH is taking the older ones on rides, what are some things I could do with the baby? She likely won't be walking yet, so I would...
