    Not going. Back to planning

Canceled our Jan 28th trip staying at Coronado Springs and I felt the same way. I knew we couldn't go but I just didn't want to push the button. This is the 2nd Disney trip canceled since the pandemic started. ☹

    Canadian Room Only Discount

And actually when I did the math, it was only $25/night, not $40 like the FB post said. Would love to hear what other people experienced if they get through.

    Canadian Room Only Discount

Also, the estimated wait time was 45 minutes but they didn't answer for 1.5 hrs so if you have to pay long distance it might eat up the savings!

    Canadian Room Only Discount

It's not on the website so you have to call in. After a 1.5 hours wait I was able to re-book with a $40/night discount our January 28 to February 6th reservation for a standard room at Coronado Springs. Of course it's based on availability. A FB group reports it's $100/night on deluxe rooms.

Poll for Canadians Edited... I got one dose of ... and I got the my second shot (two votes allowed)

AZ yesterday morning. Chills, aches and a fever of 102.9 last night. Mostly gone this morning but still achy. Keep telling myself that it's a good sign that it's generating an immune response.

    Coronado springs tower or elsewhere

We stayed in the tower last year (before covid) and it was beautiful. Loved being close for pop refills and the pool. The only thing I'd say we didn't like compared to our "usual" resort of Riverside is the shower not being in a separate room so if someone was showering (like mom) the kids...

Star Wars Dessert Party - Is it posted what nights it's offerred?

Trying to figure out if it's offered February 25th or just completely booked so I can stop checking and hoping someone might cancel.

    Hypothetical question about resort upgrades...

A few years ago I saw a cast member holding an iPad with our name on it from the Magical Express at POR. I almost knocked my hubby down in my haste to get off the bus because I was sure that we must be upgraded or something. Nope, just a way to reduce numbers in the lobby for check in! LOL.

Guest Relations Opening Time Canadian Resident Tickets

Does anyone know if they will accept a photocopy of the passports? I'm not keen on carrying our actual passports in the park for a day.

    February 2020

I found a standard view room for $200 less. Apparently they look in the direction of the parks and you *might* see fireworks in the distance. $200 USD in savings is worth a parking lots view if that's all we get.

    February 2020

Originally booked standard view room in the Gran Destino Tower Feb 23 to Mar 1 with 4 day base tickets with the Canadian discount for $3,138.64. Changed to a 6 day base ticket in a water view room for $20 less (factoring in the gift cards).

Good ways to keep track of kids

We got these for our son before he could remember our phone number. Again, doesn't prevent them from getting lost but provides the peace of mind you can be contacted if you get separated. We put up on his arm so he could show a cast member if lost. https://new.safetytat.com

Stay Play Dine 2019 Calculation Thread

It is until you add in the exchange rate...our Canadian dollars are only worth 0.70 American. I try not to think about it when I buy a Mickey bar.

Stay Play Dine 2019 Calculation Thread

Thanks so much SouthFayetteFan! I feel so much better knowing that I'm not "missing out" on a better deal. We don't need dining but I guess I'm always trying to recapture the amazingness of our 2009 visit when we got free dining. Excellent work on figuring out all the discounts for us!

Stay Play Dine 2019 Calculation Thread

Can you math experts explain why I'm not seeing any discount? I currently have Jan 26 to Frb 3 booked at POR garden view room for $1901.16 and a 5 day Canadian resident ticket for 2 adult and a 9 year old for $1036.26 for a grand total of $2937.52. When I plug in PSD (and called) they quoted me...

Stay Play Dine 2019 Calculation Thread

Already purchased tickets under the Canadian resident offer and booked a room at POR. Called to see if I could add the dining plan and she kept trying to talk me into the Magic room offer and then adding dining. She didn't understand that I was ONLY interested in the dining plan if I could...
