Wonder what's going on with the Boardwalk view units that people were moved, and now the exterior?

The exterior scaffolding was on the Boardwalk side of the exterior when I was there last December. Seems weird that it's still there, or have they come back? I'm guessing no one really knows, but I'm certainly curious. We have a standard studio booked beginning May 5th. We haven't been notified...

I always check in at the desk, and they usually ask me if I want to upgrade. When Starwood managed the properties, I often got upgraded for free. Not anymore.

Thanks for the response. I've never inquired about DVC, so I imagine I won't get a call. Honestly, I'm perfectly happy renting DVC.

In the past, free dining was never offered with a DVC stay on points. It was always for staying at a Disney resort and paying full price (no discounts of any kind), and buying tickets. If that has changed, I would be really surprised. By all means, report back.

I agree that the prices at Swan/Dolphin are crazy expensive for food items. A pint of milk was more than a half-gallon at the Boardwalk store. I don't bother with groceries at Swan/Dolphin any more. They have very different atmospheres. Swan is a busier area. It doesn't have the same "escape" feel of WL. Other than at Christmas time, I would always choose Swan over WL, but I always want to be around Epcot. It sounds like you feel differently, and I think that's important. You may be...
