    Trader Sam's Tips?

Get there 15 min or so before they open for lunch and you should be ok. Otherwise it's hit or miss - 80% of the time we wind up outside but that can be really nice when there is live music.

Dinner event at the Tam O'Shantar with Disney-related artists next Sunday Jun 23!

Hi, a friend of mine is presenting her 17th annual Be Our Guest Dinner Event this year at Walt's favorite restaurant in Burbank, the Tam O'Shantar. You get to sit at a dinner table for 8-10 people with one of her Guests of Honor from your choices and also mingle with the others after dinner and...

    Pearl Harbour Question?

I've been checking their online site and it looks like it should be pretty easy to get one of the late release tickets a day in advance. Right now - 11:30am west cost time - I see at least 50 tickets for tomorrow. The site...

Has the ride itself changed between ToT and GotG? Anyone take dreaming for motion sickness?

A CM told me that a lot more people are getting sick on the ride now because the movement is continuous. On the other hand there's nothing really scary about the theme - it's really fun and there's some very funny videos depending on the ride experience you get. I really prefer it over TOT.

Looking for specific Star Wars shirts at the parks

The CMs will call the other stores - I know Star Traders had it at Christmas ( my son bought a pair). The 'Shop Disney Parks' app on your phone ( not the disneystore app ) is supposed to have all park items. I just filtered by Star Wars and then added Adults/Clothes and but I only see the Leia...

    Which F&W Pairing?

I just found out they ARE doing beer. vs wine as well as the wine only experience. The 2 hosts -1each for beer and wine - really made this fun last year. It was a high point for me - enjoyed it much more than the french traditions. So while it's not the one you asked about if you're looking for...

    Which F&W Pairing?

Last hear the italian one was different - it was wine vs beer and with each course they gave us both and w voted which went better with the course. It was great fun and the food was excellent - I'm disappointed they have changed it. There were none of the listed shellfish.

SECRET DRINKS MENU AT TRADER SAMS ENCHANTED TIKI BAR

I sometimes get the Black Pearl but it's hard to describe the taste - it definitely has Chambord in it - I've seen it described as a take on a Long Island Iced Tea. It's tasty and not too rum-heavy ( only slightly tipsy after 2, unlike the Hippopottamai-tai which knocks the socks off me!

For those of us who DID NOT get D23 Sorcerers...

There's a facebook "D23 Members, Expo Fans and Attendees" group that's putting together tips from prior attendees. I've been to all 3 and it's gotten tougher (read: more crowded) every time. LOTS of standing in lines. Last year we got there around 10pm the night before the first night because we...

I guess it is OK to go to DLR in your underwear

I read recently that fear of lawsuits may be behind the fact there is no longer any enforcement of dress codes. Sad.

    Diamond Celebration Merch Availability

Some of it has been on sale lately on the disneystore.com site. And the starbucks 60th mugs are on sale in the park now. I haven't noticed a shortage of anything yet though - just saw something saying the 60th celebration would end on Sept 6 so you should be good.

Any restaurants in or near Disney that serve a good steak?

How much are you willing to spend? Ruth's Chris is just a few blocks south on Harbor and imho has the best steaks anywhere (they serve them on a platter over melted butter! We love to split the porterhouse for 2). Morton's is also in the same area. The Toy Story shuttle would get you close to...

Family from Norway coming for first visit. July 27 One day only. Any advice?

I believe they can buy tickets via the Disneyland app on a smartphone that same morning - it will save the wait at the ticket booths which can be long. If no smartphone you can probably buy them using a computer and printer in the hotel business center at the last minute. I agree just DL is...

    Fastpass -

The new Frozen stage show is also a disconnected FP so that's another you could get when you're picking up the RSR one in DCA. I heard there was a limited test of FP+ via smartphone but it was short.
