    Genie+ park based priced!

This was our experience this past September, as well. It didn't feel too different from FP+ in terms of "tap and book" from ride to ride. My only lamentation is that in September we were able to add G+ to our ticket ahead of time. I'm not a fan of waking up and having to add it each day.

Preparing for Nicole, Rain tips, and other advice!

Does not seem that it needs to be watched in terms of being a hugely destructive storm. It is worth watching, though, as it will be a very rainy day for at least 1 park day in the near future.

Preparing for Nicole, Rain tips, and other advice!

Still kind of sailing through uncharted economic waters in the wake of the pandemic. I feel like they will stay open based on history, but all bets are kind of off right now with how they approach things.

Preparing for Nicole, Rain tips, and other advice!

New stuff coming in this morning looks like the intensity of the storm may increase, but it doesn't seem to be changing the timeline. If you were expecting washouts on certain days, that will stay the same ... it just may be a bit more rainy/windy during that period.

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

Just experienced the same thing in September. We did a "re-create" the photo moment on Dinosaur (from a 20 year old photo!), and they never showed up in our account. Very disappointing. We made sure to tap for our photos as much as possible the rest of the trip.

Hurricane Ian - WDW Resorts Related Updates, Planning & Discussion

I would think real food, since a lot of the hotels (we've heard) have pulled the Hurricane meals and are opening up their normal menus already.

Hurricane Ian - WDW Resorts Related Updates, Planning & Discussion

Been watching them for awhile. Definitely more damage there than at some other resorts, and that's why tomorrow is still so "up in the air." Boardwalk showing little sign of damage, but Wilderness Lodge has some areas where there was erosion of walkways, part of their dock looks like it sunk a...

Hurricane Ian - WDW Resorts Related Updates, Planning & Discussion

Saw some photos of Wilderness Lodge with some trees and debris around. That is the type of thing that will delay opening. Guarantee areas of Animal Kingdom (especially the Savannah) have all sorts of debris scattered around. Will take some time for safety people to go out first to assess if the...

Tropical threat?? Leaving in 9 days...

Figured they would have to close for a few days. new models are showing that some areas inland could see 20”+ of rain over an extended period of time. Very dangerous rain totals, even for areas that may not bear the brunt of the winds.

Genie + How good or bad is it?

All of us FP vets who used to stand there with all of our group's ticket cards going 1-by-1 to get the paper FPs.

What Do You Like Better Now Than Before COVID?

Always check closely, though. I thought all of mine were for 30+ minutes out, because my brain was skipping the "now" part of it. For instance, right now, MK is showing everything as "Now - 1:35pm." Some may read that as "Now, the next available time is 1:35pm," but it actually does mean you can...

Tropical threat?? Leaving in 9 days...

Information starting to come out that standalone sites (i.e. Bungalows, Treehouse Villas, Cabins, etc.) are going to close from 9/28 to 9/30 ETA: From the Disney website

FYI - MCO is closing Sept 28

Isn't that one of the signals that other places use to start following suit?

What Do You Like Better Now Than Before COVID?

The trip we just returned from had all mobile ordering available as "now" until a certain time. Usually would have everything within 5 minutes of tapping "we're here."

Genie + How good or bad is it?

We just got back and we were FP/FP+ commandos. We had no problems using Genie+ & ILL to our advantage to ride everything we wanted. Pair it up with rope drop, and other extended hour opportunities and we were able to hit up most rides for at least 2 rides for each day we were in the parks. I...

No San Angel at 60 days plus 10? Weird

MDE is still allowing people to "stack" reservations, correct? Without blocking similar times, they are allowing people to stack and hold multiple reservations 10 days before some people even get to make their reservation for arrival day. They need to put the block back on that doesn't allow for...

    Space 220 Lounge - 60+__?

We were only able to get a 60+8 for our last trip, but it wasn't one of our "Epcot days," so we didn't take it. With persistence, however, we were able to score a lounge seating the while we were on our trip for lunch the next day we were at Epcot. So, yes, these are still very hard to get...

Late Night Deluxe Resort Extra Hours

Extended hours for Epcot were great for us to get rides done (walked on to Frozen, TT, etc.), but I agree that Epcot needs to have more food areas stay open for those. Doesn't have to be everything, but trying to hunt down anything to drink was a real pain.

What Do You Like Better Now Than Before COVID?

We just returned from a 9/17-9/25 trip and we saw a lot of new trainees at all the parks, and at the resorts. Hopefully the "lean" staffing problem is starting to resolve.

Current wait times look pretty long. I was thinking September had lighter crowds. Is there anything special going on that might account for the

We have 3 MK days coming up and I was worried that 1 was on a Party Day because we'd have to be out of the park early. We are rope droppers so heading right in isn't an issue, but it sounds like it may actually be a good day to visit from what I'm reading.
