    BWPPI coffee and breakfast hours

Wait, the Former Capt. Kidds? Did this fine dining establishment close? Maybe it was finally shut down by the health dept and the owner was convicted of crimes against humanity? (Sorry for the hijack..)

Bad service and rude employees at Disneyland

Disney, like all other employers these days, are having to try harder to keep workers. Updating outdated guidelines is a good start. As for rude Photogs; They all were rude? That doesn't pass the sniff test.

Did Captain Kidd's buffet go out of business?

The only way that toilet stayed in business was because it had a never ending supply of unsuspecting victims.

Cars ride breaking down at Disney's California adventure

When you lose something like this, go to City Hall and tell them your story. Often they will give you a replacement at no charge. Found that out when we lost my sons hat on Pirates!

Open Letter to the Guy Who *Purposefully and Gratuitously* Screamed in the Haunted Mansion Elevator

I too am so very sorry that happened. It happens quite a lot. Seems like these idiots just can't go a moment without attention.

Lamplight Reservation- Can we sit at the bar on the lower level?

We've had a little different experience but maybe it's because we go early, 11:15~11:30ish (11:15 is the earliest seating IIRC). When we check in, we ask for a water-side table and shady if possible. We've both had skin cancer and are not going to sit in the sun. We've never been denied but it...

    Park hopper vs single park

We've done it both ways and will never do anything but hoppers again. I think it's even more important for a short trip.

    Stand by food

I'd check on PI to see if it's walk up that day. Food is good (for DLR) and if you sit in one of the atrium's, it can be a quiet, relaxing break from the noise of the park (go early).

Favorite Harbor Hotel excluding pools and why?

PVI. It's quiet, well kept and we like the free breakfast upstairs where you can seen into the park. BWPPI is a close second but the pool (sorry) is always so crowded that it's unusable. Both are a super short walk.

Why were the painted skulls removed from the Adventureland entrance?

Nobody here on this forum, regardless of ethnicity, can speak for the feelings and sensitivities of an entire group. Just because one person is fine with a situation doesn't mean others have to be. And people who are offended or hurt by these things aren't weak. The only ones that are weak are...

Indiana Jones Adventure vs Radiator Springs Racers

Thankfully, we don't have to choose between them (in real life). :earboy2:

    Big Locker Problem

Bad business is closing down these lockers too soon after closing. Bad business is making customers unhappy - something Disney strives to prevent. I never said anything about out-sourcing.

    Big Locker Problem

Hopefully the extra effort this 'outside co" had to go through will make them rethink this questionable way of doing business.

    Park Re-entry?

How was a capacity day handled before? Did they stop people from re-entering when the park hit capacity mid day?

    Can I add a day?

If "history" is any indication, there wont be enough capacity for all who want in.
  17. Indiana Scott

    Can I add a day?

With the limited capacity, adding a day may deprive someone else from getting in the park. Disney may be trying to make the park available to as many different people (and their money) as possible. BTW, I'm not judging - I would try to get another day too.

    Peter Pan Motor Lodge

Found this: Peter Pan motor lodge Looks like a great place for a kid! Back in the 60's when I was a kid, we stayed at a space themed hotel that was very cool. Decades later I brought my new wife there on our honeymoon but found that it had really gone down the toilet! We ended up staying at the...

Blue Bayou to begin selling alcohol

Not a fan but given how weak DIsney typically makes drinks, you probably wont see people walking around inebriated.

Full moon (almost) behind The Matterhorn

Very cool pic! We often stay at the Park View Inn and from their roof top breakfast area, you can see the Matterhorn and its waterfall. That always gets me rev'd up for the day.
