Sail Away, Sail Away, Sail Away - A Year of Cruising Three Different Lines

Embarkation In my experience, embarkation can be one of the most stressful and frustrating aspects of a cruise vacation. So far, the experience has been similar regardless of what line I have sailed with: arrive at your assigned time, drop off your luggage with the porters, enter potentially...

Sail Away, Sail Away, Sail Away - A Year of Cruising Three Different Lines

Cruise Line-Provided Transportation allears.net This is one category where I will combine my reviews. All three cruise-lines provide comfortable, air conditioned buses and/or shuttles (for a fee, of course) from local airports to the cruise terminals. In the case of DCL, they will also pick...

In order to be fair to each line, let me...

Backpack Etiquette-first post, hope all goes well?!

I cannot agree more! I just returned from WDW on Saturday. I got clocked in the face by backpacks twice! Once while waiting in line (and no I wasn't crowding the person) and again in the aisle seat on the plane while others were boarding. I, too, realize its not intentional, but please be aware...

    "Official" 2019 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - A Frightfully Festive Celebration

Its been 9 days since I purchased my MNSSHP tickets directly through Disney. I booked 2 party days at once, I received the confirmation email with only one bar code to cover both parties. I was able to book FPs for each party day after I'd already booked FPs for all of my "normal" ticket days...

Former lunch menu BOG pork lovers...

The portions are smaller, too? Bummer! 2 pork meals used to feed my family of 4. Now that the kids are pre-teens/teens who knows what it will take to satisfy them!

Is Blizzard Beach closed week of Sep 8? [Yes, it is]

I'm not one to complain, but I can relate to your frustration. Its been several years since I've been to WDW after visiting 16 years straight. Over the last few weeks, I've been reminded why we stopped going. Our plans for September keep evolving with each new announcement. I'm sure we'll have a...

Former lunch menu BOG pork lovers...

How is the chicken as a replacement for the pork? My family loved the braised pork at BOG. We will be visiting WDW in September. I made a few reservations at BOG for lunch before the switch to chicken. I was wondering what people's recent experiences have been since the menu change. Thanks.

Is Blizzard Beach closed week of Sep 8? [Yes, it is]

I'm bummed too. We are going Sept 11 to celebrate DS's HS Graduation. BB is his favorite WP. I swear, every week Disney makes yet another announcement to force me to modify our plans for this trip. I fear what may come next...

    Questions regarding legally blind guest

Good morning! My family will be traveling to WDW in September to celebrate my son's high school graduation. My brother and sister-in-law will be joining us. It will be their 1st trip (and likely their only). SIL is legally blind. She isn't fully blind. Here at home, she gets around fine without...

No more pork at BOG :(

This makes me so sad! My family loved the pork. Its the whole reason I made us lunch reservations for September. What a bummer!

Tent camping August 3 for 4-8 nights. Too miserable?

About 10 years ago, my family tent camped at FW in August w/o A/C. It was okay. I greatly prefer camping in the summer months with our portable A/C unit. However, we we survived just fine without one. The key is to stay busy and out of the tent during the day. The nights weren't bad. Good luck!

Will September really be THAT bad?

We are returning this September after a 4 year break. I'm not too worried about the crowds. I assume it will be busy, but I'm not going to stress about it. I'm just going in prepared to manage our time wisely. I figure no matter what, I'll be back at WDW! I'm sure we'll have a great time...
