The I Love BWV (yes, Hallways and Clown Pool too!) Thread

Those areas are finished and have been for some time. You should be good with that request.

Disney's POLYNESIAN VILLAGE RESORT Information & Questions

Maybe it is just the perspective of the photograph, but that pool doesn't look very large considering the size of the building. :magnify:

    No Club Level Discounts

We were CL aficionados for more years than I can remember. When our kids flew the nest, we begrudgingly gave it up. I can't say that we miss it--last stay was 2010 at Polynesian (our favorite). Worked out well since those we had come to know and love over the years had also moved on through...

BWV refurb is in full swing.

Same thing, of a sort, happened to us. Requested lobby floor or near elevator, Village Green view and ended up first floor, Crest 'O Wave section across from the model room overlooking the courtyard. :headache: The first and only time we have been placed in that area. In fact, most of the time...

Disney's BOARDWALK INN Information & Questions

Given the correct information provided above, why not try for a room at Swan and/or Dolphin? Less pricey than a Boardwalk, Y&B Resort and would provide you with the access you are seeking.

Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE RESORTS Information & Questions

We have always enjoyed the lobby level rooms as well, exception being the EPCOT end some of which have the annoying criss cross wood patterns over the window.

Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE RESORTS Information & Questions

At the EPCOT end of the Dolphin, you will need to take an elevator from the lobby down to the first floor to reach the rooms, unless I am not remembering correctly. I know we never found egress, other than the fire door (which does not provide access to the first floor after exiting) or the...

Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Yes, you are able to request more coffee from housekeeping at BCV. We bring our own coffee from home as well and bring regular flat bottom filters for a 10-12 cup pot. Pods are also provided for the regular coffee pot.

Thoughts/info on quick serve options at Swan & Dolphin, plus Riviera?

With the addition of Rosa Mexicano, Picabu has changed the menu and is not focused on Tex-Mex at all. In fact, we couldn't get anything Tex-Mex in October 2023--pizza, chicken and various meal entrees in the afternoon and evenings. Breakfast is still good too! We really enjoyed Rosa...

Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Appears to be a good many of us there in early-mid May. I failed to mention our fall trip, September 24 - October 4, 2024 - BCV. Please feel free to add it when the opportunity arises.

Tom is still there weekday evenings, or at least he was in October when we were there. Tom is fabulous!

College Football 2023-Year of The Dawgs?

One small point, Ohio State is playing Mizzou in the Cotton Bowl. I'm with you though--would have liked to see another OSU v Oregon game. Full disclosure, I am a Buckeye fan from birth who lives in MI--I can't stand TTUN and given its history (major choke at bowl time), I don't see them...

College Football 2023-Year of The Dawgs?

Just putting this out there! Oh and we gave UGA a pretty good game last year but for the no call against UGA on Harrison--the outcome could have been far different. :flower3:

    Space 220 Review

Limited seating and first come, first served. I have seen folks queuing at 10:00 a.m. in hopes of getting a bar seat. I agree, this would be the only way I would return.

Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE RESORTS Information & Questions

When we have been there the walkways were not closed to guests or anyone for that matter. The food stalls were set up along both the causeway between S&D and the walkway between Swan and the main pool. People freely traversed the area whether a part of the party or not--note, you couldn't...

Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE RESORTS Information & Questions

We have been at both Dolphin and Swan during these events and it was not an issue for us.

Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE RESORTS Information & Questions

We have, a few times over the years, and it was a total nonissue. We have also stayed during the huge conventions, e.g., Gartner Symposium. Again, other than extra buildings--nonissue to the guests until the bars start hopping in the lobby late at night.
