We are in EPCOT and waits for Test Track are now over 100 minutes with Spaceship Earth around 35 minutes. World Showcase is crowded with lots of people in the shops. It's scorching hot without a cloud in the sky and the folks are definitely out and about!!! :-)

Sorry to anyone who liked this because everyone is entitled to an opinion, and no one is "wrong" but this is a terrible replacement. I don't think I even need to get into details about why; it's obvious. We are shattered by this. We cried watching it, but for the wrong reasons. To each their own.

I agree with Trails End, especially considering the bang for your buck and traveling with your 12 year old son. I'm sure he'll love the grub! :-) Beaches and Cream would probably be a nice fit as well. Not sure if it qualifies as a "hidden gem" necessarily, but it's a fun experience in a great...

Another potential windfall for Disney though here....offer a "premium DME" option that takes guests from the airport directly to the parks....chaaa chinnnng!!! :-)

A 7am opening virtually guarantees very short lines and your pick of attractions whether it's Thanksgiving or any day of the year!

Early/Mid May (prior to Memorial Day) is an EXCELLENT time to visit on virtually every level. If you're flexible, shoot for then!
