Will Sci-Fi have me cancel my dining reservation?

Last summer, I had an ADR for 2 people, but my 5yo daughter needed to join at the last minute because grandma couldn't watch her. The lady at the podium told me that they could only seat us if the 3 of us could squeeze into 1 row together. She did not seem willing to budge, so I basically ate...

Annual Passes Resume April 13 (DVC) April 20 (General Public)

I was finally down to 38 mins. Now stuck on Approximate Wait Time: Recalculating :crazy2:

Annual Passes Resume April 13 (DVC) April 20 (General Public)

I really wish Disney had staggered the days better. First DVC, then Florida Residents for FL-resident passes , then out-of-state. Having Florida residents and the rest of the world purchase at the same time certainly made this process more complicated than it should have been.

QUESTION: Can you add the water park option AFTER you purchase the AP or does it have to be done at the time of purchase?

    Splash Pad at Fort Wilderness

Yikes! At the end of April, we are camping for our kiddo's bday weekend and planning to spend an entire day at the big pool with the slide. I thought the website said the work would be done in early April. I might need to come up with an alternate plan because the smaller pool isn't as much fun...

    Trails End Buffet Gone Forever

It hasn't been a buffet for several years. We love the breakfast skillets with cheesey potatoes and Mickey waffles. (I wish they would have served those all day. Breakfast for dinner is a treat!) But, I underdstand that more money can be made as a market for them.

    Unwanted room inspections?

Bathrooms are probably the most likely place to hide kidnapped children, weapons, and/or drugs. It's really easy for people to claim invasion of privacy and hide people/things in there. They see a lot of illegal activity that doesn't always make the news. I always make a point of telling them...

    Unwanted room inspections?

Florida is one of the top-10 highest states for human trafficking. Plus, worldwide, Disney Parks have been a huge target for high-profile terrorist attacks. These two points make the safety checks essential. Intentionally making it difficult for Disney employees to complete these checks raises...

    Does Disney regret the Fort?

During peak times, it can be argued that Fort Wilderness is no longer the least expensive lodging option at Walt Disney World. For April, our preferred campsite's rate is more than the cost of a room at the All Stars; but, we've selected the Fort for the inclusive campground experience.

    New Monsieur Paul cancellation policy--WOW!

A glance at several cancellation threads will show that people often book the same restaurant for several days during their trip because they don't want to make a commitment until their trip us closer. Hopefully, this will prevent cases of reservation hoarding.

Would you say you have overachieved or underachieved in life?

I identify very closely with Hermione Granger and Luisa Madrigal. If I'm not overachieving, I feel like a failure.

    No more interviews?

My friend's son said he was accepted to the college program. When I asked her about his interview, she said that he didn't have one. Is this accurate? He is autistic and I don't want him to be taken advantage of a program posing to be the DCP. Thanks!

    Anybody cook in their room?

Nope. Lingering food scents in a room are yucky and Mickey Waffles bring me too much joy to skip. My kids love yogurt tubes, Lunchables, and fruit, but those aren't stinky.

Best restaurant to celebrate adult birthday but have a 2y/o in the group

The entrees at Story Book Dinner at Artist Point are outstanding! My gnocchi ranked far better than anything at our Narcoossee's meal. They also have delicious cocktails, apps, and dessert.

Something seems different about this H20 shampoo.

Yes, the shampoo is green! Out of 6 containers, this is the only one that was white and DEFINITELY not shampoo consistency.

That sounds like a delicious alternative to sticky sweet (and very messy) syrup for little ones. I often don't want to bring frozen waffles on vacation because I imagine syrup EVERYWHERE, but this could definitely do the trick!

Something seems different about this H20 shampoo.

Yes! At first I thought it was conditioner. ETA : But, it might be lotion!! I'm honestly not sure.
