Staying at Kidani for very first time, tips?

Spend some time at the little savanna by the pool! It's small, but you get to see so many different types of animals, my favorite being the okapi. There is usually a Cultural Representative there to talk with you and they do activities with kids and adults.

Favorite resort for pool days with babies/ toddlers

Kidani has the best kids splash area in my opinion! We were there with our 2yo DGD in February, and it was just perfect. It's shaded, not crowded, loads of space, plenty of benches in dry areas nearby to take breaks/park the stroller. Our DD and DSIL specifically wanted to stay at Kidani to...

    BLT standard, high floor?

We actually have a 1br Lake View coming up in June, I'll be sure to update with what view we get! :)

    BLT standard, high floor?

The first time we had a standard view (back in 2010!) we lucked out with a room on 2nd floor facing straight out to the Monorail, and got to see Wishes every night. It was amazing. Our son then was only 10yrs old, and was a huge fan of the monorail (hence my DIS name) and it just couldn't have...

    BLT standard, high floor?

If it makes you feel any better, we have had spectacular lake views. If you like getting up early and your balcony is facing the right way, you'll be in for a treat. Not only is sunrise gorgeous over the lake, you'll get to see all the boats and the ferries coming out one by one to start the...

    BLT standard, high floor?

So we had had pretty good luck getting great standard view rooms, then a couple of years ago our luck ran out! We got a room on the first floor. I am not typically super picky, but that stay rather scarred me lol!!! Yes, there were people walking/jogging by all day long. The patios are not...

    Recent experiences at Jiko?

Sadly DH and I are a little off of Jiko right now. We ate there last year for Valentine's Day and had an iffy experience. No big deal, anyone can have an off night. Well this year for Valentine's Day we were seated late for a 5pm seating...literally watched who ended up being our server...

Some suggestions for chilling at WDW please (-:

My daughters and I have enjoyed mornings spent at the Grand Floridian. Breakfast at Grand Floridian cafe, then pedicures over at the spa. It was always such a relaxing time spent together, even just a pedicure at the spa gets you access to all the amenities.

Chai lattes in the parks - Starbucks vs Joffrey's

Actually the Contemporary Grounds at the Contemporary Resort is a Joffrey's location. (no frozen chai, though. that is only at AK). It's on the first floor. :)

    Festival of Arts 2024

The thing is with Food and Wine, we have lost so much. No festival center, no tastings, no Party for the Senses, etc. We do have Eat to the Beat but the bands are only there on weekends, which is another huge loss. Does anyone else remember the Festival Center? Getting to see the chocolate...

Chai lattes in the parks - Starbucks vs Joffrey's

I am also a huge fan of tea in general (DH and I don't drink coffee at all), as well as chai! Joffrey's is by far the best in my opinion. The frozen chai in Animal Kingdom is my favorite of Disney snacks, ranking above any ice cream bar or Dole Whip lol!

DS Christmas Tree Trail (Stroll) soft opening?

They are scattered throughout, which I think is much nicer. Crowds were so tight when they were all in one place. This way everyone can just walk around and there is plenty of room to enjoy each and every tree.

    Massachusetts DVC Owners Group

We just got back from a quick weekend at Coronado Springs! Not DVC I know, but we had a great stay! BWV coming up for us next month and bringing our DD and DGD, can't wait! Let us know how you enjoy AKL, that is my favorite home resort. :)

    Club level AKL

That doesn't seem right. We switched from Atrium Club at CR and moved to Kidani, but still had access to the Atrium Club for the entire last day/evening.

*** Bay Lake Tower Owners Group***

We had a package shipped last month while staying at BLT and it did go to the Convention Center. It honestly was an easy pickup but you did have to walk over there. If it makes you feel any better, the charge was only $5, not $6. :)

Owners Locker - what do you store?

We've had an OL for years, and just recently added a second. I finally gave in and started leaving a few Ears in the OL, which was very hard for me to do lol! It did make sense to leave some of my frequently worn ones there and not have to keep bringing them back and forth. I figure if...

    DoorDash delivering alcohol to Boardwalk

Thanks for the reply! We would be there to meet the driver. Our daughter has had problems whenever at an Epcot resort getting a DoorDash person to deliver there. It may just be coincidental bad luck, but she is convinced those resorts are so busy they don't allow them to drop off there.

    DoorDash delivering alcohol to Boardwalk

Hi all! I am aware of the policy change for having alcohol delivered to the resort. My question is specifically whether anyone has had luck using DoorDash to deliver alcohol to the Boardwalk. I have heard that the Epcot resorts do not allow it. I was just curious if anyone had been...
