Be our Guest lack of value.

At least now dinner is as cheap as lunch. Oh wait, lunch is as expensive as dinner. :(

French onion soup - Where is the best?

As I always say, if it’s not baroque...Don’t Fix It Either you are a fan of the original Dick Van Dyke show (the best sitcom ever) or this line comes from someone who was. [Edit] Correcting myself. As I recall now the exchange was. Harrison B. Harding: These are baroque pearls. Richie: I...

    Summer House Cookies

Had no plans to visit the overpriced WDW anytime soon but maybe its worth it for cookies. :)

If you are prioritizing "experience" over food quality, which are your top spots in each park?

For us the food is the experience. Also the experience can be something as simple as a quiet table on the second floor of Columbia Harbour House.

How do you know if a restaurant is "Disney owned"?

    Its really expensive. :)

Raglan Road or Rose & Crown

Raglan has great variety for reasonable prices but I also am a lover of Sticky Toffee pudding. I would go to Rose and Crown if you are planning to be at Epcot.

Does anyone else hate they keep going back to the same restaurants?

I have always felt that doing the same thing over and over doesn't count as "being in a rut" as long as you are enjoying yourself,

    Chefs de France

Makes sense that the food is dumbed down French. The World in Epcot is a dumbed down version of the world. :)

Leap Year Confusion - ADR's and BBB

29 days in February? What are you talking about? :) No wonder I am always showing up on the wrong day for my March 1st appointments. :)

    Captain Cook and refillable mug?

21.99. That's really gone up in price since the last time we were there. Now it would take 3 days to make it pay in the Florida heat instead of 1 or 2. :)

    Late(r) night dining

Depends on whether you want to eat with her. :)

    Favorite affordable Disney Springs restaurant?

Our favourite is Morimoto Asia but for under $20 you'll be stuck with Wok Sauteed Vegetables. :)

    CS tipping?

We haven't been in awhile but we always tipped at Wolfgang Puck Express because they brought food to the table and filled our drinks. Usually about 10% instead of the 20% we leave at TS.

    Boma vs Story Book Dining

We are also Boma devotees and never miss it but it might be nice to try something new. If you won't risk a divorce (like I would) by missing Boma, then I would say "try out Story Book Dining". :)

    Formal Attire to California Grill

You can never be over dressed. Just don't make fun of the slobs. :)

    Refillable Mug - Reactivation??

It makes a lot of sense to reduce waste. We certainly don't need the 20 mugs we have.

    Chef Mickey's: Breakfast vs Dinner?

Agreed. With the crowds these days getting at park early is more important than ever. We never eat a large breakfast.

has anyone ever had luck with a walk up at Ohanna?

Forget 'Ohana. For $268 for 4 adults we can get a lot of the food at Tambu for less money, including a few drinks. And better still, we'll be able to walk without worrying about exploding after. :)

    Gideons cookies..OMG

I am not a fan of anything I need to line up 40 minutes for. Queuing for rides is bad enough. :)

JoW, not going to waste my time

It is probably intended for people like our family who typically go to Epcot at least twice. A welcome break from standing in lines.
