I saw it in the theatre this past weekend and loved it. I actually knew nothing about it but my son wanted to see it so I went along. I think it is definitely one of those films that is best for the big screen. I didn't notice any volume issues.

We tent camped the last week of Feb this year and it was a little colder than we expected but I would easily do it again. I did make a Target run to get an electric blanket though. I would suggest bringing that or a heater and you will be fine.
