Terrible food at Disneyland this week

FYI, both the nachos at Craftman Grill and the lobster nachos at Lamplighter’s are still excellent and HUGE!

I also think it would be popular. I’d love it if they added another breakfast option, too.

World of Color Dessert Party Questions (NYE? Rain?)

You made the right choice! We stuck with our reservations for last night, not because I was feeling optimistic, but more because I ended up feeling stubborn about my New Year’s Eve plan. I thankfully have a family who love me very much, lol, because we were pretty much drowned rats before we...

Terrible food at Disneyland this week

They do have the famous cold brew and finally tried it for the first time yesterday. We mobile ordered it but the first available time is 10:30. The enormous line of cold brews at the counter at 10:30 was hilarious and I wish I’d thought to take a photo. It would be really great if they added...

Terrible food at Disneyland this week

Right? I usually drink mine with some milk and sweetener, so it hid the taste somewhat. DH drinks his coffee black but couldn’t handle the taste and ended up doctoring his up just to make it palatable enough to get his morning caffeine fix.

Terrible food at Disneyland this week

The Ronto Morning Wrap was super tasty, warm, and filling breaking this morning. If Ronto Roasters had better coffee, it would have been a perfect breakfast.

Terrible food at Disneyland this week

There was a focaccia basket available for purchase. I believe it was $16 or $18. We passed. As much as I love focaccia, paying to fill up on bread didn’t seem the best plan before what we knew would likely be a very filling meal (and it was).

Terrible food at Disneyland this week

Blue Bayou was decent tonight. Not great, but decent. DH and I both had the scallops. On a scale of excellent, good, fair, poor, or unacceptable, we thought the perfectly cooked scallops were a solid “good.” If the seasoning had just a smidgen/pinch less salt they might even have rated an...

Terrible food at Disneyland this week

I have to say that we had an absolutely amazing experience at Napa Rose last night. The food was both delicious and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and very attentive. It was definitely on par with our previous visits. I was actually pretty worried going in last night after a few...

They tend to keep the club level rooms close by the concierge lounge and the DTD rooms are quite a bit away from The Veranda, so it’s highly unlikely that the DTD wings are where you would be placed. You will most likely be placed pretty close to the lobby.

    Grand Californian vs Disneyland Hotel

I think this is one of those “matter of preference” issues. I always love DizMe and DLgal’s perspectives, advice, and information, but this I one area where my family has a different opinion. We love our DTD rooms! We stayed concierge level last time and while we had a pretty view of the pools...

Thanks for your input. That’s helpful. I think I am going to request a room on the west wing rather than the eastern end by the trams. We actually enjoy watching the hustle and bustle down below near the restaurants and shops.

Has anyone stayed in a Downtown Disney view room this holiday season? I didn’t put in a request for any particular location/floor and am now second guessing myself. We will be there over NYE and will likely try to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks from our balcony. But we also really enjoy the...

Has anyone had success booking dining? I mean......for the love of churros!

I would love a reservation for Napa Rose on 12/29 (I actually have one but it’s not until 8:30 which is a bit late) so I am watching for more of the 12/31 and 1/1 times to drop in the hopes people switch to those days from 12/29!

That would be such a huge benefit for staying onsite!

They definitely dropped at 3am PST today and definitely dropped sometime before 6am the previous two days. I missed out on my Napa Rose reservation since I wasn’t up at 3am. Also, I’ve heard they are dropping at 3am via the website but the app hasn’t been making them available until 6am, so...

I’m finding reservations are dropping before 6am PST for the last couple of days. I’m not sure how early since I’ve been setting my alarm for 5:35am and they are already available.
