When we were there in Nov/Dec 2016, we did not see anyone joining other parties. I can't say that it didn't happen, but we did not see it happen any of our 4 days in the parks.

I would choose spring days vs. November. Not sure on October, but we were in China/Japan in November 2016 and it was unbelievably cold... We are from southern California and it was colder than we had anticipated, especially with the winds in TDR. If you go in spring, make sure you avoid golden...

Really? I thought I read that the highs were in the 70's for Paris during the summer months... So it's the humidity that makes it really hot? I live in southern California and our temps in the summer are 90's/100's but with relatively low humidity. What does the temp actually feel like? 90's?

No effect on the parks? That's so very different from the crowds here in Disneyland on grad nights, then!

Hi everyone, we are planning a day over to Universal Orlando from WDW next month and was wondering if anyone has experience with grad nights there? I have been to a lot of them in DL, but never at a Universal park. We have been to Universal Orlando before but want to have a great day there...

I guess everyone has a different experience when it comes to how the crowds react in SDL, but we absolutely were stared at and had numerous photos taken of us. None of us are blonde, but it was quite awkward. We were there in November/December.

How is June/July for the DLP parks? Weather looks to be the warmest those months :)

It's actually not as daunting as you think. I booked everything on my own when we did this same trip in November/December (all the Asia parks, not Paris) and it was pretty simple.

You have to show passports at check in, so they will know ages and how many. I wouldn't do it to be honest, because the rooms are quite small!

The most often used things here that are blocked by the "great firewall of China" is google maps, google mail, and Facebook. When we went to Shanghai and HK, I just used the wifi from the hotel to log onto the web and went without a data/SIM card. We downloaded a VPN app which helped with...

I would say 95% of everything in TDL takes cards. I only used cash when I had to, and it was the carts that I remember being cash only. Most everything else takes cards. We used Visas, and that was it. Suica cards we used cash on. Good luck! Have fun!

I agree, there were NO ornaments to be found in TDL, and we had to improvise with cell phone keychains. I don't remember any in SHDL, or at least not a lot of them. I did not ship anything. We were able to take two suitcases back per person on our airline, plus two carryons, so all of my things fit. I did buy two collapsible duffle bags (ones that easily squish into tiny balls when not used) and used those for our clothes and but our souvies in the big...

We arrived early one day, but not the others. For the time of year that it was, it wasn't necessary. We rode everything and no wait was longer than 30 minutes. I was still suffering from jetlag so don't remember a lot of the food, but I can vouch for the Mickey muffins as one of the best snacks...

No brushing your teeth with the tap water, either! That was a difficult one for all of us to remember but we were given 6 bottles of water each day, which really helped. I didn't buy one bottle of water in SHL or HKDL, which helped saved a ton of money :)
