    Marathon Weekend 2025

For those that have experience running with a charity at runDisney, how does the registration process work? Do you get a link before or after general registration date? Is everything else normal… for example submitting a proof of time and corral placement? Just curious how this has typically...

    First impressions - Fantasy 3/2-3/9

We took our very first cruise in Sep 2023 on the Fantasy. Ours was at end of month and btw, we thought the ship was in great shape.

    Marathon Weekend 2025

It’s a pretty good one, but I’m biased as I live in Louisville and have done the half 10 years or so. It’s pretty large, so that makes it fairly exciting. The half marathon is quite a bit more popular than the full run at the same event. It will be the 51st year for the half (mini).

    Marathon Weekend 2025

SAFD: The New York Marathon. I got to run it once and I’d do it every year if I was given the opportunity. It was 26.2 miles of loud cheering (except for bridges). It’s not the easiest race, but it’s the best one I’ve experienced.

    Princess Weekend 2024!

Copied from website. When entering your bib, do not enter a comma or the dashes. To link your race photos to your Disney account, log in at DisneyWorld.com/PhotoPass, select "Link Photos," and enter your 16-digit code, which is the 11-digit RaceID, plus your 5-digit bib number. If your bib...

    Princess Weekend 2024!

They were telling people to either go left for pictures or right to head on though liberty square. You must’ve zoned out some because I got through magic kingdom really fast at ~7:35 pace starting right at 5:00 and heard the option for pics. Mickey and Minnie weren’t out when I went through...

    Princess Weekend 2024!

I chose no stops today, but the last couple years I’ve had a goal in the Disney races to get all pics. Any chance someone has a list of who the character (or background) pics were today? Also, hoping someone on here is gonna be persistent and keep digging to find out something about Ivana...

    Princess Weekend 2024!

I feel like there’s often up to 6 stops. 1) Tomorrowland, 2) Alice and friends near tea cups, 3) sometimes something in new fantasy land, 4) castle, 5) liberty square, and 6) Frontierland. I do think that’s probably the max I’ve seen but could be wrong.

    Princess Weekend 2024!

You just never know who you get and if they will move you. The lady at runner relations told me that the 10k wasn’t necessarily pegged to the POT. Btw, I had challenge bib 20069 last year. To fix it, they just put a little A sticker over the B. 🤣

    Princess Weekend 2024!

True. Last year my challenger bib was “A” for the half and “B” for the 10k. I was able to get them to move me into “A” for both at the expo.

    Princess Weekend 2024!

Looking for any input from others that have been able to defer or get a refund due to injury. My wife and I are registered for princess, but she slipped down our deck steps yesterday morning and broke her tailbone, t8 vertebrae, and added a bruised rib. We will still go and I will run, but the...

POT (Proof of Time) Race Equivalency Cutoff Confirmed Times

I think this is really common in younger kids. I see this in turkey trots and whatnot too. They don’t always run straight and they turn their heads around a lot. But I know this mostly because they take off so fast at the start of races, so this is all out in front of me lol. Sometimes I’ll...

POT (Proof of Time) Race Equivalency Cutoff Confirmed Times

I’m surprised there aren’t accidents in the 5k and 10k because of the honor system (estimated pace). This year I was very close to the front of corral A in the 10k. A young guy next to me was trying to race it and thought he had a legit shot to win (he didn’t win but was top 20). Anyways...

    Marathon Weekend 2025

SAFD: For me, the Disney love was first… but the running pushed me into run Disney. I honestly don’t know how many trips my wife and I have taken to WDW since first going in 1989. Prior to that I went to WDW as a youngster in 1972 and DL in 1975. My kids ran in middle and high school. The...

    Marathon Weekend 2024

The whole marathon weekend trip was great. We stayed at OKW and did no parks this year. We mostly just ate, relaxed, and visited various resorts.... and did all the races. Only real hiccup was our flight home. Was scheduled for 6:50pm departure from MCO last night and we left MCO at 2:49am...

    Marathon Weekend 2024

6:50pm southwest to Louisville for us tomorrow. Maybe we are lucky and just delayed although we may have some stuff when we land too. Oh well, there’s always Wednesday flights if necessary.

    Marathon Weekend 2024

We must’ve been running reasonably close to each other.

    Marathon Weekend 2024

Big congrats on the race! You must’ve been moving if that’s where you were with the hardest rain hit!

    Marathon Weekend 2024

We must’ve been together at that point because I saw the guy standing there and his buddy said something like, “but wait for how long?” I started slowing considerable after the first 2 miles or so.
