Thanks everyone for all your comments. I booked the Courtyard Marriott today for now. GL location can't be beat but I think CM might be closer to what we are looking for. For those that have stayed at GL did you find it noisy. DH got really nervous when he read GL noise complaints on Trip Advisor.

Having stayed at both my families preference is the DLH. I'd say alot depends on the time of year you are going. If you plan on spending your afternoons by the pool, then I would definately go with DLH. Their pool area can't be beat.

The Labor Day weekend was really busy at the DLH pool with it being a long weekend and the 1/2 Marathon Weekend. Hopefully it will be a little bit quieter when you go. Your best bet would be to try the area over by the slides.
