Grande Villas vs Cypress Point vs anywhere else?

It's dictated by the flights I got on miles so it's 11th - 30th August which I realise is an odd and difficult duration for a timeshare resort but we're going for a bit more of a budget trip this year after realising how much we'd ended up spending on recent trips! Sheraton Vistana Villages was...

Grande Villas vs Cypress Point vs anywhere else?

I don't know anyone unfortunately, is there a way to just rent points in that market?

Grande Villas vs Cypress Point vs anywhere else?

Hi, very long time lurker but not posted for years. Sorry this is a sort of repeat of other questions that have been posted over the years but there seem to be very few responses from the last year so thought I'd ask if anyone has any recent experience! We've decided due to insane Disney prices...

    Annual Passes

There's definitely conflicting advice out there. It looks like all of the above is true, technically you can only book 7 days worth of FP+ in a rolling 30 day window. However, if you're staying onsite you can book for length of stay at 60 days. There are lots of variations of the above in...

    Annual Passes

Ignore me, found the answer elsewhere and for anyone reading, I think the answer is you might get lucky and they over value the ultimate ticket but chances are not so it's probably break even. In the process I read that you only get 7 days of fastpasses though which is a bummer. Need to offset...

    Annual Passes

We've decided we want to squeeze two trips into the next 12 months so annuals make sense but with the exchange rate, price hikes etc it's looking a lot more expensive than it used to. Has anyone got an opinion on whether the UK 2 week ticket at £375 upgraded to an annual is actually cheaper...

Help! 'We can't check you in online, because government regulations...'

I had the SSSS last year and there's a tip I wish I'd known then! We were travelling indirect and both getting on and off every plane I got pulled for extra searches etc. Apparently after the first time you're searched, you can ask for a new boarding pass without the code on and they should give...

Orlando Airport Lounge - Near Virgin Gates

We went in The Club lounge this year, kids go free and it was great, plenty of snacks and drink choices and the kids liked it. It got a bit busy at times but we got there early. Would definitely book again!

    Current popcorn buckets

Animal Kingdom has a glowing lotus flower basket which was by far my wife's favourite. All the others were boring that I saw! http://i1.disneyfoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Screen-Shot-2016-01-20-at-12.25.48-PM.jpg?dec183

those of you at WDW right now - how's the weather?

Was going to post the same but got in too late, storms noticably earlier in the day at the moment. One thing I will say is the parks seem quieter than a normal July, just in my opinion that is. Standby queues are still stupid times but there's room to move unlike some years!

$200 gift card loaded onto MB?

I completely forgot we've got a $100 gift card as we booked direct. Do we need anything in writing or just go to customer services in Disney Springs and wave a magic band?

    Saratoga sofa bed

Amazing so far thanks, just enjoying a lovely breakfast now. We're booked through Disney not dvc so we'll see what happens later! Enjoy your stay too.

    Saratoga sofa bed

Stupid question but would housekeeping normally make up the sofa bed or is that our job? We arrived today and kids were so tired we made the sofa bed and they went to sleep but is that something housekeeping would ordinarily do and if so, does anyone know what time they normally convert it from...

    Car Hire Help!

Try Virgin Holidays, they often have quite a good price.

    Got the Disney Blues :(

If you google "magical deals for labor day" you should be able to find them, they aren't a partner company here so not really allowed to mention them outright.

    Got the Disney Blues :(

Have you looked for the travel agency that does labor day specials? I think they often do boardwalk places.

    Got the Disney Blues :(

Sorry for the late reply, the very end of August is definitely much quieter than July especially if your school tips over into September. This year they are doing Halloween parties for two dates at the end of August too which used to be loads of fun although I've not been to one for years...

    Villa advice please

We love this place and have stayed more than once. We're hooked on Disney hotels at the moment so not been in a couple of years but would happily go back http://www.eaglewoodluxuryvilla.co.uk/

    Got the Disney Blues :(

Well, if it's luxury you're after (possibly not convenience) then it's got to be business class flights and the grand Floridian. I know what you're saying about separate rooms but we gave that up for the pleasure of staying at the GF. There are ways to do both for under your 10k budget. The...

    Got the Disney Blues :(

Can I ask what your budget is. Would you rather go more budget/value and more frequently or luxury and wait 3 more years. One of our best trips ever was a week at pop century and last minute flights with thomson. £2000 all in excl tickets for a family of four.
