Why a week or two off in October? I don’t get it. Our school district used to start after Labor Day, but they started gradually going to earlier start dates so that we’re now at a point where the first semester is done at Christmas time. Easier for the high schoolers

Thank you Karen, for letting us know. I’m amazed that a friend whom I’ve only known on-line would affect me so much. I’ll never forget her. My sympathy to you all.

Still praying for Mary that she is not in pain. Praying for Chuck, Karen, Jesse & Zoey that they lean on one another during this stressful & sad time. I’m going to take some time to read Mary’s trip reports. She’s a descriptive writer & it’s apparent that they had so much fun on their Disney trips.

Mary, it’s hard to “take” when you’ve been independent and a “giver”. I did so much for my mom and wouldn’t have traded that experience for anything! So let them do for you, Karen’s right - you do for family.
