@Sluf Sorry your trip home was so difficult. Hopefully next time you head home from the Fort there will be less "series of unfortunate events"

This picture is a bit blurry but this was a magnificent horse passing by our site and his/her clippity clop sounds were just as impressive.

@tltay2005 As we were getting on and off the monorail at MK I did notice the crowd and it was not bad...I have seen much worse at MK. Sunday was probably a good day at MK, beautiful weather and low crowds!

@bama_ed you are correct...an absolutely gorgeous day today at WDW . We rode boat to monorail at MK. Had lunch at Captain Cook's and then spent rest of afternoon at pool. Pool was packed...took a bit of manovering to get chairs for 5 in the same spot but managed to do so as some people left...

Today plans were changed up a bit. DH and I rode bikes over to WL and had lunch at WCC. DGDs went with parents to Epcot for the day. They won't be back til late so Toby, DH and I are just chilling at our campsite.

We had a great day at AK. The morning started out cool and all the animals were very active. The monkeys were very noisy! Got to see the parrots flying around the Tree of Life which I was hoping I would get to see... very cool. We had lunch at Flametree BBQ. Spent rest of evening relaxing...

Arrived today. We are in Site 702 and it's perfect. Although I have never had a site I didn't like at Fort Wilderness. We are relaxing and enjoying at our site, listening to the birds sing while we wait for rest of family to join us. Flight comes in late...they should be her around 10pm.

Won't be long now... Just 13 more days and we will be pulling into the Fort and will be greeted at the gate with "welcome home" ! Oh how I love that! Weather looks good just might not be pool weather. I can hardly wait to be there!!!

Spoke with DD today and all six of us plan on going to AK one day...that will be me DH DD DSL DGD#1 and DGD#2. DGDs want to go to MK alone which is fine with everyone else as they are 17 and 16 years old. Nobody else wants to go to MK. But I am like wait what I want to go to MK!!! So I will...

I am happy to report that TFP#2 is safely in the hands of @sheboz. Also it was good to meet @serenitygr and @sheboz and I was happy to help with the transfer of TFP#2.

serenitygr. I was wondering if boomer1 is arriving November 9 and since I won't be using #2 Firepit, that maybe boomer1 would want to use it and he could then pass it on to sheboz. It is fine to leave it with me on November 11 but didn't want to hold onto it if someone else could use it.

We will be there November 4 Through 15 but will not use . You can leave it with us to babysit November 10 Or 11 or whenever you want to drop it off so it can be picked up on our site on November 11th.
