Still here . . still single . . :) Anyone planning on going to Gay Days at Disneyland this year?

Yep . . I know what you mean. :( I think it is harder when you live outside an easy Disney resort access area. With Disneyland being over 500 miles away and Disneyworld over 2000 miles . . interest tends to dwindle.

I also have a special vacation account to help make sure I can make it to the park at least once a year. :)

I'm a lurker too . . sort of. Don't frequent this site/board to often as I am more toward the West Coast, and seems this site runs more skewed to the East Coast. Need to change that! ;)

No post about it having sound now? It's great to hear the train and Mark Twain in the distance. :)

Howdy all . . I'm closer to the west coast so Disneyland is the only park I know . . but hoping to get to the park out east next year.

I tried MouseMingle for awhile. And still single. LOL There were quite a few guys that I "matched" with, but 99.9% were more than 500 miles away. :(

I will be going to Gay Days Disneyland Sep. 28 - Oct 2. It will be nice to get out into the real world again . . :)

It's a nice trip for a day . . as most have already said. Plus the convenience of ART having a bus going from Disneyland to Knott's makes it a nice break too.

I would agree on this property too. It's always my choice. Though it is not a "Good Neighbor" property . . . the rates are always good. It is an older motel property . . . and it shows. It's a great place to stay if you plan on being in the resort area most of the time. Definitely a...

John Wayne (Orange County - SNA) is always my first choice ... followed by Long Beach (LGB). It's smaller .. and probably about the same distance as SNA. I avoid LAX like a plague!!! Can't speak for any of the others' in the area.

I usually stay at this motel. The walk isn't much ... maybe 10 minutes from the gates to the motel (and vice verse) at an easy pace. . . . although at the end of a long day in the parks .. a motel could be in the esplanade ... and still feel to far away. :)

Looks like I will be making a trek to the parks Sept. 30 - Oct 4. Normally I have a pretty big group go with me ... but most have bailed this year. :( Have reservations at both the Anaheim Plaza and the Desert Inn .. haven't decided on which place to stay at yet.

I haven't been since October ... but went with a decent sized group of friends. We all enjoyed the place. Definitely a place to go if you are hungry ... lots of selection - more than at a typical Mongolian place. The servers were very nice and helpful as well. I would get a thumbs up on the...

This is one of my preferred places to stay. For those who want to know, the place does have WiFi but they charge approx 4.95 and hour or 9.95 per day. (However, depending on your room, you can sometimes pick up free WiFi from other motels in the area ...):rolleyes1

I've been going for several years now ... and the best advice I can give, is to just enjoy it. :) I tended to overplan and think the trip for the first few years, since it's the only time I get to go to the park. And now, I just go with the flow and things are even more fun. I've met...

I recommend HoJo's ... but only cuz the Anaheim Plaza is my little secret .. ;) It's definitely a dated MOTEL, but for the price and location ... as a place to crash when not in the park .. it's perfect ... So ... let's just keep this to ourselve .. K? ;) Enjoy your trip!
