Ok thanks skylock. We go in January so fingers crossed we will be alright if the dining is in the sale.

    All Day Dining

We have purchased this before, but I seem to remember you have to choose a date. I was hoping to buy some Dining in the Black Friday sale (if possible) but wondered if I could alter the date if our plans change whilst there? Has anyone been able to do this?

    Alcohol at WDW

In December when on QSDP they did ask to see my husband and his ID when collecting a mobile order. At another location they let me get it, so it probably depends on the CM and how much they stick to the rules.

    Virgin Flying Club

Sometimes you can manage to get something. I used ours to get my daughter a return flight at a Christmas that we paid tax only (over £300) but would have cost nearer to £1000 for the dates we were looking at if we hadn't got any miles. When are you wanting to travel?

    Overwhelming!!

Personally I would go for November for the Christmas decorations and it gives you longer to plan! I would book your flights and hotel first and then take it from there. It’s important to have a plan and book your FP and perhaps some dining reservations, but just as important to know that the...

    What snacks do you take?

From AKL you are so close to either the Walmart on Lake Wilson road or the Super Target at Rolling Oaks, I bet it wouldn't cost a lot to Uber there and back and pick up your supplies

    What snacks do you take?

I like to buy fresh fruit and crisps! It's a bit of a mixed bag but we all enjoy a little snack.

    Help.... overwhelmed and confused

I agree with pp that you might as well make the most of an early wake up and go to a park for a few hours on your first day. Also WDW is a lot bigger than Universal so you may want to adjust the amount of time you are spending at each park. Whatever you decide you can get a guide to the US...

    Help.... overwhelmed and confused

This might help https://touringplans.com/ a lot check this for crowd calenders and you can get personalised touring plans, you do have to pay but I have used it (some years ago) and it was useful. As you are staying at a Universal resort you would probably be best spending your first few days...

    Help.... overwhelmed and confused

As others have asked it would be helpful to know if you are only going to Universal. If WDW is in the mix then you are looking at a whole different ballgame.

Why Do UK and Irish People Always Go to Walt Disney World Instead of Disneyland California?

I'm not sure why it bugs you, each to their own. Less people who go means it will be better for you to visit. Most people only think of London when coming to the UK. I've been to Disneyland. DLP and WDW, but have returned more frequently to WDW as we prefer it, and it provides the family...

is QS dining plan worth having?

We had it for 1 week in December. I kept a tally of what we had and would say it was only worth it for us as we had alcohol. Without it you might break even at best.

Paying for tolls through car hire who’s best!

I agree Alamo is the best. We used it last time without a problem. It is $3.95 per day service charge for the days you use it plus the toll fees, however the service charge fee is capped at $19.75 for your rental period.

    Virgin Atlantic food

We flew in December and they served a fab lolly on the way there. Could you try ringing special assistance?

2020 rates aren't even out and I'm driving myself crazy deciding on which moderate resort already.

We were in building 1 at POFQ which is the farthest from the main build but still literally 5 minutes at most from the food court. We could see our car from the room from one window and the river from the other, we had a corner room.

    Target behind WDW

It ŵas the one at Rolling Oaks, it is about 10 minutes at most from Animal Kingdom. The Walmart referred to was the one recently built on Old Lake Wilson Road just off the 192. If you use Sherbeth Road you can get to both easily.
