What/where is that? I've never heard of it.

Post DMX, watching fireworks, still tired....any seats?

Have you considered renting an ECV for the day? If so, you can watch from seated on the scooter, from the designated area.

    Pre or post dessert party?

I don't know. We were always together when we have done it. But I think that would be fine.

    Pre or post dessert party?

    1. I find that before the show, people spread out on the hub grass, sitting and lounging. Then when it's close to show time, cast members ask everyone to stand, and most move toward the front of the viewing area. We don't do that. We hang at the back of the area. Lots of space around us, and a...

    Post Magic Kingdom Fireworks Party

What is the date of your trip? Many/most nights, the MK is open for a while after fireworks, up to a couple of hours. But no matter whether the fireworks are at closing time or not, as another poster mentioned, Disney will run transportation until every guest has left the park. You have nothing...

2024 Candlelight Processionals…. When does WDW usually reveal the dates?

Isn't it always every night from the day after Thanksgiving through December 30? Any reason it would be different this year after decades of being the same?

    Military Ticket Questions

Yes, all military tickets require park reservations. This is because there is no date range attached to them. You can use MYW tickets on whichever dates you choose. There is a handful of ticket and pass types that still require park reservations.

Out of state APs - renew or wait?

Not considering the (now pretty remote, it seems) possibility of Disney suspending sales, or the possibility (probability?) of a price increase, the "math" says that if you aren't going to use it for over 2 months (15% of a year), you should wait, and buy new even though you lose the discount...

    Military Ticket Questions

As a veteran with a 100% military-related disability, he would qualify for the most deeply discounted salute tickets, which are available as 4-, 5-, or 6-day park hoppers or park hopper plus. But to use those he must purchase one for himself and travel with you. There are also smaller...

    Military Ticket Questions

I understand that's true for some families, but if it would save money, I'd think it would be worth starting with the number of days you are quite sure you will need. It wasn't clear from the post whether the plans were firm or not, to me. But if you start with the "better discounted tix"...

    Military Ticket Questions

You have received all correct info above, but my question is why don't the people who want longer tickets just buy that length of MYW ticket from the start? Then there is no question about an upgrade feasibility or cost. MYW tickets are available in 1- to 10-day lengths.

Paying for Genie + With Gift Card

Note that for Genie+ and ILL purchases with a gift card, you need both the gift card number and the EAN, and there is no option to scan the barcode. For using a gift card to pay for mobile dining orders and mobile checkout at gift shops, you only need the gift card number, and there is an...

    Luminous thoughts

Okay, fair enough. I personally love the gamut of human feelings this show evokes. It's a journey. If all I want is a "fireworks show" I'll go to my local theme park. The way that Disney shows make me feel deeply is one of the things I love about them most. But then, I'm a sappy old...

    Celebration area looks nice

I'm curious why you think it will mostly be used by locals? I love the area, too. Much more seating, which is long overdue, and the design of the area is just so "Epcot". Clean lines, calming vibe, just beautiful.

    Luminous thoughts

Thank you for sharing this! I recommend everyone read it before commenting on the show. My daughter and I were there Tuesday night and loved it. As we were driving home from the airport last night, before reading this article this morning, we expressed some of the same points -- that the "loss"...

Candlelight Processional - When To Line Up?

I planned a last minute trip for next week, and was able to nab a dining package for Tuesday (John Stamos AND Luminous premiere) using MouseSavers two days ago. And I have since gotten about 4 other alerts.
