Epcot China Pavilion - Lunar New Year Ears

Hello! For those at WDW right now - specifically those who have been through Epcot's China Pavilion - have you see any of the Lunar New Year merch? I'm fully aware that the merch is available in Disney California Adventure - and some of it online. Appreciate anything eyes + ears on the ground...

7 months and we back, again : 14 days of gluttony & grub: PLETHORA O' PICS 12/1/23-12/14/23 NEW NEW!!

Awesome, awesome reviews. Glad you're back! Parents' home resort is SSR and we've also embarrassingly never eaten at Turf Club. That must change now that I've read your experience!!! Good to know about the stuffed pancake at AK - gross. I've never tried a Night Blossom bevvie - will do this...

Bull & Bear - Offsite Dining Question

Bull & Bear is incredible. It's classy, the service is incredible, and the food is terrific. You can't go wrong here. I would say it's better than all the other Disney steakhouses (Yachtsman, Narcoosee's, Le Cellier, etc.). I highly recommend. Super easy to get to via Uber/Lyft if you plan on...

    Festival of the Arts?

Festival of the Arts is so much fun; you'll have a great time. I echo all the previous posters in what they describe. The food booths are reminiscent of other festivals, and very pretty. The cocktails and drinks as well. I really love the drawing classes, which they teach on the stage at the US...

Canadian Rockies July 29, 2023 report

Thanks you, @Eastridge, for your trip report. I really enjoyed reading and reliving my Banff/Lake Louise trip. My husband and I spent a week in mid-June 2023 and LOVED it. We want to go back. My husband was supposed to attend a conference in August 2020. Well, we all know what was happening in...

The Official Riviera Owners & Info Thread

Laughing at this. Fam of original SSR Owners here. Bought back in 2004 and about to celebrate 20 years as part of DVC and all the joy + memories it has brought me + my family and multiple generations. We are truly lucky. Anyway, huge Riviera fan here - have been since it was first announced. I...

DVC @ Disney World Tesla / EV Charging

Yes, as I mentioned in my post + as Mattrg confirmed: "The resort had charging as well - probably was mandated by the state/local officials when builiding the resort." I think the City/local zoning board required the chargers as part of the resort development. Some jurisdictions require them as...

This trip has changed our minds about SSR

Tidefan - Loved reading your post (except the part about the snakes). Our home resort is Saratoga Springs. Not ashamed to admit that from our "welcome home" visit in 2005, we did not return for 16 years (May 2021). The time span didn't really have much to do with SSR other than we were newly...

DVC @ Disney World Tesla / EV Charging

Love this thread. Very helpful. We road tripped down from DC to WDW in Dec (week of Christmas to New Year) 2018 in our Tesla Model 3 and it was one of our favorite trips. We supercharged outside of the parks and I think plugged in one day in Epcot. We were staying at the time in Kidani, which...

    Ramen in Disney World?

We have a ressie at Morimoto Asia for our next trip. Had "forgotten" about the restaurant since its opening to last year and we were like "how could we have forgotten this place?!" Ramen is fab. Have a great time!

    Florida Water - again

Brita filter - as a previous poster mentioned. There are various sizes if luggage is an issue. I'm an efficient suitcase packer and I always fill with socks, smaller clothing items, etc. so I'm not wasting space.

Will California Grill Ever Drop the Prix Fixe Menu?

I wish it would go back to a la carte, but like many responses on here, don't think it will. The Mouse is making a lot more money on prixe fixe and the ressies are still stacked - so why would they be motivated to change?

    Morimoto must haves?

Oh yeah - duck for two is too much. Well you could do it, but it would just be that and you might have to take some home with you. The Buri-Bop would be amazing for you two to share.

    Morimoto must haves?

I love Morimoto! Making me hungry. Go-to/famous menu items: Shumai - Appetizer. Authentic, presented in bamboo basket just like at real dim sum restaurants. Peking Duck - This is the hanging duck that you see in windows. They come with little tortillas so you get to assemble your own "tacos"...

    Topolino's for Two....

Definitely try to get an ADR for the full experience. And if it doesn't work on your 60 days out, keep trying. Spots open up, especially as the date nears and people drop ressies. As a previous poster mentioned, the bar is available for walk-ups/non reservations for breakfast. Please keep in...
