Hi you lovely lot!!!

Just wanted to ask if anyone who has been on the Magic in Europe this summer might happen to remember what tap beers they had, equally if anyone is on the next 2 cruises if they would mind finding out for me please? Trying to decide on beer or wine to take with us and if the beer mugs are worth bringing this time. We’re on the 8/25 cruise Thanks in advance for any help you can give!!!

Following this as we will be on her for the WBTA a few weeks later. Looking forward to any updates. Thanks and happy cruising.

We were on the med cruise last month and they said they weren’t allowed to do the beer mugs on those sailings because they can’t serve more than 12 oz of beer apparently. Can’t remember too well what they had on tap...it wasn’t great and they were out of a couple options until they restocked at one of the ports. DH wasn’t into what they had on tap so he was ordering Kona Brewing IPAs in a bottle and then picked up beers in port

Oh that’s interesting! We haven’t had a problem using our beer mugs in Europe before so I wonder if this is a new thing?
I am expecting the beer to be the usual rubbish, wish they’d start bring some craft beers on tap since they’re so popular now. Ah well, might have to budget more for stocking up in port. Thanks :-)

We used the beer mug in Northern Europe - are the rules in the Mediterranean different??
I am so glad to see this since we are doing Norway. Having said that we have done the med and not had an issue. I suppose it might be a new EU ruling, quite a few countries in northern Europe are not EU members so those rules wouldn't apply there. :confused3
