Bridge being built from MK to Grand Floridian

I’m here now staying in Sago room looks right out to the site. There are white flags in the ground on the MK side which looks like an outline for a walkway. Anyone who rides the monorail can clearly see it. Pure speculation on my part.

No I got that part I was wondering what website you were talking about.

Crane was in the air yesterday and still is this morning, along with a couple trucks and a few workers.

Oh. www.laughingplace.com. I know (now) a different site is linked near the beginning of this thread. That site didn't claim an official source.

There are a few threads on this topic. I forget which one provides what links and information.

I saw this on Chip and Co, but since then have seen it on multiple Disney sites I follow. None of them make it sound like a rumor so I'm taking it as official, especially with cranes and workers out there now. I use Chip and Co for a lot of Disney news and they've always been correct in the past.

What happens is once one blog publishes the info, all the rest of the blogs run with it, too, with no facts or proof. I have no doubt there is work being done there, but I doubt it is for a walkway. :confused3

This is going to be really nice - we may stay in Magic Kingdom area again due to this. You'll be able to walk to MK from any of the hotels and to TTC, even from Contemporary if you wanted a nice, long walk.

I totally would. I am not a fan of the monorail at all, so if staying at The Poly, or if I somehow find myself at the TTC and need to get to MK, I would choose the walk over the monorail.

Not sure I'll ever stay there, but yes I would. I prefer to be in constant motion on the way to my destination rather than standing around waiting for a mode of transport to arrive. It doesn't seem that far and I don't mind walking. Then I'd get to eat or drink 100 extra calories, bonus!
