New Magic Bands upgrades available from solid colors!

Mine just showed as a separate order that needs customized, one with only me on it and one with only my 2 kids, because we are on different renewal schedules. To customize my DHs I have to log in as him on his account, since has had his own.
 
I have an AP voucher that I will activate in June. Is that when I will see an option to upgrade to one of the new bands as an AP pass holder?

Yes, the option to choose your band comes up after you activate it. So it doesn’t help you for your first trip! If it’s on-site you get one for that stay, though. When we renewed for the first time ever (we usually let them
Expire and buy new for our next trip if we are getting them again, since there are usually a few months between the trips) I did notice those ones showed up right away.
 
Thank you. When I activate our new APs in June - will I, at that time, be able to choose a new special band at the $10 price from Guest Services? There were a few I liked and for that price I don’t mind paying the upgrade price to get another new design.
 


Just looked at this -I was not planning on changing the bands - but it looks like the “free” colours have mainly disappeared - the bands we had selected previously seem to have disappeared - or am I missing something?
 
i order yesterday a set of special magic bands. get a confirmation by mail. but in my plans ( Magic Band Section) it still shows the solid ones. If im trying to edit the order, there comes the dwarfs ( working on it). I hope its only a bug and they will fix it.

For the second reservation i can still choose magic bands.
 


I finally managed to get mine this morning. Not the biggest selection but they had the HM one that I wanted. DH was a bit disappointed they didn’t have the Storm Trooper ones but he picked Darth so he’s happy.
Not sure if the selection will change but I’m super happy with mine
 
Canadian site works but I still can't pay. But I still got time before my trip and I have some selection.
 
We were able to finally order ours later in the day. Wonder if the choices will change as time goes on. I agree there weren't as many as I thought there would be but picked ones we were happy with as well.
 
I was finally able to get through yesterday. I never had luck with my computer but was able to get in via the app (which sent me to the web). Yesterday was suppose to be our last day to customize. I would never pay $25 for these bands but gladly paid $10.
 
Is it me or have several styles sold out already? I haven't ordered yet because I'm hoping they add some styles (McQueen, especially) before our deadline.
 
I think it is unfair. Black Panther is sold out. I have been trying to buy him since yesterday and I still could bot buy him. I wanted him for so long. I am so mad right now.

Yes it looks like either several designs are now not available or the site is no longer displaying the options correctly... Either way this is frustrating as the band I selected for my daughter was reset and she no longer has the one she wanted chosen or available to choose.

I agree. Considering I couldn't buy yesterday and now the only one I wanted to buy is reset. At this point, I am in a mood and I just want to cancel my whole trip lol (I get dramatic sometimes. I have work issues with Disney this passed month).
 
Yup there were 51 options this morning and now there are 39 AND I can’t purchase my 2nd choices now either!! (Deep Cleansing Breath):faint:
