Liberty Tree Tavern at 3:30...Lunch or Dinner?

We have an ADR for 3:35 at LTT. When I looked at the menus, I see that there are a la carte options for lunch (which is what we would prefer) but dinner is only a family-style AYCE option. The hours show that lunch is served from 11:30-3 and dinner is served from 4-9pm...so with a 3:35 ADR, where do we fall? We are a party of 8 and I think a few people in our group may opt for the AYCE option (which is available on the lunch menu too) but the lighter-eating teenage girls don’t want that much food.

Pretty sure it's dinner, but if you go to Disney's site and look at the date you have an ADR for, it will tell you what the lunch and dinner hours are.

I do know that LTT has earlier "dinner" hours than most restaurants on property.

Just making a quick check, it looks to me like the last lunch reservations are at 3, and dinner reservations begin at 3:15 for several dates I tried.

We have booked the last lunch reservation just before 3:00 many times. When we were there in March dinner seating began at 3:15.

On the upside, you can eat enough to not need another meal later in the day. The dinner there is my favorite meal in MK. So good!

I would go for lunch. I just like that we will have different option to choose from. Also less expensive.

According to the website, lunch goes to 2:55. Dinner starts at 3:15.

Lunch
11:00 AM - 2:55 PM
Dinner
3:15 PM - 9:30 PM

If you want lunch you'll need to change it before 2:55 pm. We never have trouble getting lunch ADRs, even day of at times so I would keep looking.

I moved our reservation to 2:45 so there shouldn’t be any problems now. Our only concern is that we are using our MNSSHP ticket as our park admission that day so we cannot get in until 2pm. We will have to battle the 2pm parade crowds and head straight for the restaurant but I think we should make it in time. We have no plans for the morning so we can plan to arrive at the turnstiles right at 2pm.

The parade is at 3, not 2. I promise, it won’t take 45 minutes to get down Main Street to Liberty Square :)

I assume you are DVC if you are using 2pm as the entry time on a party ticket?

According to the park hours posted on MDE, the Festival of Fantasy parade is at 2pm on October 20 (and every day that week)...and, yes, we are DVC and so we do have access to the 2pm early-entry benefit. I don't think it will take 45 minutes from the time we enter, but it's more a matter of timing it so that we do not enter before 2pm. There will certainly be a line to get through the turnstiles so that could take 10-15 minutes (we have no strollers, but we do have small bags). Then we have to get the 8 of us, ranging in age from 7-71 to the restaurant. We walk with a purpose and none of us have mobility issues so I am not anticipating a problem, but the parade crowd can sometimes be an issue since we will be navigating through a crowd of "parked" individuals.

You can always take the route through the stores. If the afternoon parade starts at the back of the park instead of the front of the park, you should be able to get through to the Emporium and go from there.
